Sometimes I look in the mirror and I am not happy with what I’m looking at, but then I remember the things I love about my body and that makes things okay. Body positivity is a hard thing to practice but in getting there.

What’s one thing about your body that you absolutely LOVE?

I like my eyes, lips (love kissing) and boobs. They make up for the parts I don't like about myself.

I know and listen to others describing other features about my body they like/appreciate, and I try to see myself through their eyes to accept myself as I am. It is true, body positivity is hard work, but it is a rewarding feeling when you get to the point where you look in the mirror and first see the things you like rather than those you criticise and find fault with.

I haven’t particularly liked much of any of my body since I had our children but I’m learning to see it through Huns eyes and I’m remembering that yeah I like my legs and bum in slim jeans. I like wearing a properly fitted bra to show them off better I’m still self conscious of my mum tum but he loves it so I’m learning to as well.

Glutes- gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus

Quads- Quadriceps

Even when I was thinner I never like either but I just live with it...

aka Slap on a wig or extensions and wear a corset!

Body confidence comes by not paying attention to perceived media 'norms' of slim perfect model like bodies.

I'm nearly 50 and a size 18 but I am me and I have no chance of having the figure I had when I was in my early 20s.

I'm comfortable in my own skin and Mr has no problems enjoy my curvy body day after day - 24 years down the line from when he met me.

Getting into naturism has been a big help in allowing me to gain my confidence after the changes in my body related to age and post child birth.

My body is the reflection of my passage through life and who I am. xxx

Being really tall and curvy, it’s taken me most of my adult life to be comfortable in my skin and figure. I said in another post I’m currently carrying a few extra pounds, but I do love my soft curves, nice bum and curvy boobs
