Taking Photos

Taking selfies, especially when you want them to look sexy isn't easy.

I have no idea about picture editing and hate having my picture taken at the best of times but I would love to have some sexy sultry photos for my profile.

Can anyone offer advice/tips on taking photos with my phone maybe an easy to use picture editor please?

This isn't an advertisement for a photographer by the way.

Self timer has been a useful tool for me 10 seconds to pose

There's some really useful guides on YouTube for taking sexier selfies, look for ones by erotic/boudoir photographers. They give excellent advice on angles, poses and lighting.I hate how I look in photos, and have never been much good at photographing myself either but have managed to get a couple I'm actually happy with after watching a few videos

Unfortunately I can’t give out photo editors as it’s not wise to give out what you use

But there’s plenty off easy to use ones on your phones App Store

As for take pics though I can help there

There’s two roots you can go down

1st is to get a stand and Bluetooth camra button off eBay and stand the phone on the stand and click the button to take it

2nd is cheaper find something to prop your phone up with and download a camra app with a timer on it

Set the timer to 30 seconds and then get in to place and then wait for it to take the pic

The 2nd one is what I do and my pictures come out awesome

I have a selfie stick/tripod with Bluetooth remote that makes it a lot easier. Or you can just prop your phone up somewhere, or stand it in a shoe.

I know some people just try different poses while videoing and then take screen shots from the video.

I use my phones editor, but I only ever crop, change to B&W or occasionally blur things out in the background for anonymity.

Only problem with video to screen shot is you lose a lot off quality or in less you uplscale witch in its self can make problems

Yes, it's not something I do because of that, I just know people that find that easier than taking still shots

Thank you everyone I think there is a tripod somewhere. I will definitely have a look on YouTube. Blurring out background is something I want to do but I'm not sure how on my phone.

Selfie stick and tripod with timers.

Allows you to maybe look a bit more natural than the gurning, self conscious turnips we really are.

Who knows, you might up your game enough to look like a swede.

Good luck

I have done it a couple off times and upscaler would have worked but fab dose not play nice with the file type it gives you so had to re convert and lost more quality so scrapped them all together

Mind you quality isn’t such a big issue or in less someone is a site supporter and has HD photos turned on

Other wise for none site supporters all photos are desplay at 2mp anyway

You can use a tripod, or you can just prop your phone up and use the timer.

Videoing can work, but you do lose some of the quality.

The best thing to do is practice, work out what works for you, and practice until you’re relaxed and confident in front of the camera.

It doesn’t matter how many you take and then delete, if it helps you learn what works for you.

Take a couple of pics, then check your lighting/background/positioning and adjust as you feel you need to.

Same.

Black and white pictures, in my opinion, are just sexier to start with.

Although like you OP, i need to learn some more editing skills. I like the b&w pics that have one item or area in colour, i think they look really.

Angles and lighting are your friends, a hot pics, page 1 regular once told me.

We use our phones and self timer or voice activation. Sometimes we’ll take a video and screen shot from that.

You’ve got to have sexy thoughts going through your mind as it shows in the pose…think of someone you want to send the pics too and hopefully that will help and then just play around with poses. You’ll soon learn angles vs lighting.

We use Snapseed for editing - changing contrast, cropping out, removing items (a plug, pipe up wall, lights), blurring…there are tutorials on the tube of you. That’s how we got better.

Penzance

Some good advice above OP.

My advice would be to have a good look around some profiles on here and make a note of the pics that catch your eye, have a feel and style you like - then have a play around recreating them or being inspired by them. Pay attention to the background and the lighting - take some practice shots whilst clothed to see how it looks on camera. Be prepared to take lots of time and contort into weird positions. When you do your final shoot take loads of shots, review them as you go and retake if necessary. Finally, filter and crop the hell out of the chosen images. Black and white or dramatic filters are your friend - over blowing contrast, highlights and shadows is also helpfully artistic. Good luck and have fun!

This is what I do, it gives you much more to play with, you don’t have to worry about timing your shots or anything and you can just prop your phone somewhere. In terms of how to find poses etc that you like, start off by copying ones that you see other people have done that you like until you get the hang of what works for you.

You can get ring light stands with a phone holder and remote for about £15 on Amazon/eBay - they're cheap as chips.

Most decent phones will have a selection of filters in their native camera apps or just download something free (there's loads to choose from).

The simple answer? Experiment and take loads of photos. It costs nothing. In terms of poses just Google for ideas.

Nobody needs a photographer to take a decent solo photo. They only really come in handy for action pics as it's a ball ache getting timing/positioning right for selfies.

We always start by making sure the background is good. Like most have said lighting is essential for good shots.Accentuate your good bits and take loads as you can choose the best. Think what you like to see in a pic and take it from there, be imaginative.

High camera angle is always best if any part of the face is shown, either partially or fully. You always look better from above than below looking up at the chin or chins lol

Just to add to all the advice about taking as many shots as you like until you feel comfortable and then editing them, just remember that these all get saved on your phone and in the cloud. Not only that but the original will be saved on your phone and the cloud as will the edited version. Just remember to delete everything from everywhere apart from the ones you want to keep. I suggest that you store those securely, I use an app called Vaulty. Even now I occasionally find photos floating around that I thought I'd got rid of ages ago.

I have very basic pictures, but am working on techniques. Slo-mo video of cumshots, to allow freeze-frame stills of higher quality. Better lighting, get Miss to be my photographer, enhance and crop images. Haven't got around to most of this yet as I've been really busy. But, coming soon, pictures.

I have an adjustable clippy thingy that I put my phone in, this allows me to attach my phone to many objects and surfaces. That way I can set the timer and walk away to pose how I wish.

Finding the right lighting that accentuates your body well is key, as is finding the right angle with the camera to capture it.

A really good camera (something my phone does not have ) is probably the most important thing to consider

Lighting is the single most important component of any photograph, with natural daylight being the best choice.

I would recommend taking photographs of an object with different light sources until you find the settings you like (choice of camera is secondary to the composition and lighting of your subject)
