"Much easier is the following......blend together 1/2 tsp of mustard powder Dash of lemon juice 2 tbsp of plum jam 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp tomato ketchup 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp vinegar (Depending on how many you are cooking for you may wish to double up on all ingrediants except mustard powder) Get ribs from the supermarket and place in a large saucepan, cover with water and a dash of vinegar ( not from the list above). Bring to to the boil and drain. Place ribs in a large oven roasting pan, cover with the above sauce and cover the pan with foil. Bake in oven for 30 mins @ 180 c (350 f or gm 4) Then remove foil and put back in over for a further 20 mins @ 200 c (400 f or gm 6) Serve with either noodles (I prefer plain boiled rice as there can be a lot of sauce) This is a tried & tested and has been eaten by my family for many years. It's delicious " Plum jam yum | |||
