Has anyone noticed an increased upsurge in the number of bots using a certain often used chat system which folks from here like to use? Never any until about 1 week ago and now loads.

So so many. I used to sarcastically reply (‘how do I feel? With my hands, mostly’) but that only encourages them.

The ones that try to direct you to their webcams?

Put it this way, if an incredibly hot young woman randomly appears in your inbox unsolicited wanting to chat … if you think it’s anything other than a bot then give your head a little bit of a wobble …

Why not just stick to here and then a proper phone/video call?

The more you use chat apps the more likely you are to be encountering bots, catfish, guys in their 60's pretending to be girls in their 20's etc.

Although if you're just using chat for wank bank material I suppose it doesn't matter who's doing the typing at the other end really.......

I get about 3 bots a day in Kik, always the same girls in different profile pictures saying "how's it day going" and similar, and they always lead to a hook up site.I automatically block them but doesn't seem to stop receiving them.
