Are you going to celebrate halloween?

From the land of haribos.

I am going to celebrate it, but not too much, like watching a halloween movie or 2. I like the 1st halloween movie and also the one with jason x. I have bought extra haribos to snack on and a kopparberg, the peach one, it is tasty, how are you going to celebrate it

Watching "Bettle juice" down the pub tonight. Then afterwork tomorrow I have Halloween night, Samhain and the day of the dead off work. So hopefully going Helgis, drinking in the cemetery and finding a pretty, second hand vrirgin to sacrifice.

Halloween party last night. Movie marathon today I think (mix of horror and psychological thrillers) and more towards Samhain tomorrow honouring the change of season and those who’ve passed.

We don't really celebrate Halloween but do enjoy the opportunity to dress up.

Hallowe'en is the time when the gates between the earthly world and the demon words are opened allowing all the nether creatures to spill out and devour, torture, steals souls of and drag back to the realms of hell all the humans they can find. This is why people disguise themselves as demons or other netherworld creatures to avoid the attention of the real demons.

Celebrate isn't really the correct word, unless you actually are one of those evil creatures.

As Vamp with a brain said....

Samhain tomorrow honouring the change of season and those who’ve passed.

Guess you're talking about the Christians changing things to denounce pagan teachings. Then again they would know a thing or two about evil. They seem to have been getting away with abhorant acts for centuries.

I’ve carved a pumpkin and I am making up halloween treat bags, for any trick or treaters in the village that may or may not knock.

I won’t be celebrating it beyond a moment of reflection (Samhain) for those I have lost, and marking the turning of the season. But I lived halloween as a youngster, and I see no harm in it and hope they all have fun.

I'm not that willing to encourage them; the little bastards will only be back next year expecting something branded like Haribos.

They're enterprising little bastards 'round these parts. Next week they'll be jumping on the LGBT bandwagon by sitting outside the local shops wearing rainbow-coloured jackets asking for "a penny for the used-to-be-a-guy"...

Worst “holiday” of the year, give me penny for the guy any day. Halloween doesn’t even make sense any more, it’s just annual dressing up day…

“What are you dressing up as for Halloween billy?”

- “Iron man!”

“Not very scary though is it billy?”

- “Iron man holding a gas bill!”

Pointless pointless appropriation of the worst of other peoples “traditions”

Maybe not celebrating Halloween myself, but I'll probably be thinking about the genuine 24 carat broomstick pilot from Nantyglo that I pulled off a straight dating site, and wondering what she might be up to tonight. It was on that date I discovered that contrary to popular belief the broomstick is not for eco friendly air travel, you are never going to be bumping into one whilst taking off and landing at your local airport that has slipped under the radar totally undetected by air traffic control. The broomstick does exactly what it says on the tin, it's for sweeping the floor! Apparently what they all do in the coven is they form a circle, but before the ritual begins, the circle coven has to be cleansed by sweeping the floor. Now when you think about it logically, that makes perfect sense because, the last thing that witches want to be doing is getting down to business stark naked in a woodland glade, getting a thorn in their butt. Not a lot of people know that!
