I have had this guy message me constantly saying he knows me, I know him, am a slut etc for meeting men here and I know I don't know him.

He's telling me he hopes that I get beaten up on my next meet and stuff like that.

He then disappears and then comes on another account and can never block him before he is gone and back again.

It's kinda freaked me a little bit to be honest as he seems to have purposely picked my profile and chooses me to have some sort of vendetta against.

Has anyone else ever been through this and do you have any ideas on what I can do as I am not having my fab experience ruined.

Many thanks

I'm so sorry.

Have you tried blocking newbies? It'll at least slow him down.

Yes! I met a guy who treated my very badly on a meet and I was very very clear I wouldn’t be meeting him again. Reported him to fab and his account went.

Since then he’s made SIX new accounts. Speaks to me for a while, then when we send face pics I see it’s him. And it’s awful. I report him every time. He just keeps coming back.

I agree… it’s just frustrating that i (and OP) have to filter out other people because one singular person can’t stop being an utter dick.

Tell him that you’ve reported him to the police, given them a face picture and his wife can expect a knock.

Also block new accounts.

Yes, it is less than ideal.

Message admin. They can permanently block accounts. If they look into it and see the messages, they should permanently disable his accounts so he can't message. I'm sorry you're dealing with such a piece of shit.

I've had exactly the same experience, the first time it happened I kept all the messages, and I did go to the police,I told him and then blocked him, deleted my account and started a new one, he spoke to me on there but he didn't know who i was as my pictures were new, plus I changed my post code, putting me in a slightly different area, I told him we were to far apart and blocked him,

Definitely change your pictures, user name and location and maybe hide your verifications.

They can find you again through your location, username, verifications as well as pictures.

I grew up in a place with 250,000 people. Everyone knew everyone and if you were in a particular scene even more.

It's unfortunate but a lot of us women have to hide our profile and only approach the men we want directly.

My face is all over the internet so I don't care really but if there was harassment then I would have to change location and pcitures and go underground for a bit.

Central

Block at least New as well as Unverified accounts from messaging.

I'd probably remove single men fron my interests too and just find the ones I me interested in,, messaging them directly for a while.

Report the user to Admin, as they may also be able to take some steps to help to protect you and other

Good luck! X

I have had this too, would send abuse, I'd block. He'd delete and repeat. He would say vile things like 'he wants see me die in a car crash' and 'hopes I die screaming' loads of stuff like that, one night he appeared within 5 mile and messaged me saying 'we're close, I'm coming'

It didn't stop until my FWB who is also Police encouraged me to report it, I did, it stopped.

So my advice is report it, the Police are good at dealing with Cyber Crime

Having no newbies, no site supporters, no pictures blocked helps loads as they have to be all these things to message you

Filters are there to help you

Hope it gets rectified soon

Chams or Socials

Well done for blocking newbies. I would also change your profile name, profile picture & amend location slightly by using next postcode & just the county you live in to make it harder for him to find you with next profile he creates.

Stay safe x

I’ve had the same lovely, newbies don’t stay newbies after 5 days, keep checking to see who’s looked at you and maybe you can spot him if he isn’t in stealth mode, if he does message you just ignore block and delete and he will soon get fed up of making new accounts, it will stop as it did with me love

Chances are he's doing it to others as well so by the time he's no longer a newbie he'll probably Bern reported.

I’m sorry to hear u r experiencing difficulty on fabs because of one sick individual. Best not to ignore threat but at the same time not be phased by it, report to admin and listen to what they have to say (since they maybe in a better position to escalate matters to the police with them having an email address to account). Also, maybe worthwhile considering to adjust your settings to block newbies and peeps without verifications, etc.

Maybe make it so only site supporters can contact you for a while op,it might stop him if he has to pay to contact you everytime he makes a new profile.

Also block newbies as others said & keep reporting him.

I had a profile that I repeatedly blocked who just rejoined and messaged,in the past .No need for this at all op,sorry it's happening.x

Screen shot him - go to the police - let them deal with him - but then it may get in the public domain … its a judgement call xx
