Used to have a dog but now I have a cat.

In both cases kind of inherited.

She's asleep on the bed next to me as I type.

I’d have a cat a lot sooner than a dog. Although they are bothe great to observe ( I love animals) I don’t want pets in my house. They can stay in other peoples.

Cat, me and ex got a cat when we first started living together, we split 3 year ago, I got the cat.

She’s my best friend.

We got a dog just before we split, sometimes I look after her, I’d have a dog if I didn’t work a ridiculous shift though, nice to get out for a walk and clear your head.

As I have cats and a dog I have to say both. Dogs for their stupidity and cuddles and cats for their calming snuggles. Nothing better than having a cat curled up on your lap and stroking them. Find it hard to keep my eyes open doing that
