The RSPCA who are a body that looks after animal welfare are warning that dressing dogs in Halloween costumes is stressful to dogs. Dont do it guys.

It's all over the news

Fillet of a fenny snake, In the cauldron boil and bake; Eye of newt and toe of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog, Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg and owlet's wing…

I’m not sure PETA or the RSPCA are too keen on the recipe for Witches Brew either …

Oh I beg to differ. Our dog has had a fitting for his spider costume and is totally unscathed.

The cat’s head is too fat for his so he’s off the hook.

Does than not then apply to all pet clothing?

I'm sure pet owners are a better judge of what stresses out their furry critters.

Give it six months and there will be an article on "species appropriation" to stamp out cats with bat wings and spider legged dogs.

To be fair, some pet owners wouldn't be able to tell the signs of stress on their pet. So many are totally oblivious to the signs of their dog being stressed around other dogs and children which is what often leads to bites.

As somebody said above, some pets will be stressed, some will be loving it and the attention that comes with it. Just like people it's on an individual basis, difference being as people we understand the process, pets just don't and it can't be explained to them.

One of my dogs loves wearing his rain coat, while the other hates anything other than a towel or blanket covering him.
