that was admired for decades, if not centuries, is no longer desirable?

And likewise, which "male" attributes and behaviours are no longer considered cool? Tongue in cheek again...

Hahaha, yeah it was actually thought fresh water on your vagina could kill you in 16th century London, I had to read a diary entry about watching the washer women trying to avoid getting the water above their knees

That is such a good question I had to think properly rather than throw off a half arsed joke !

I guess for men it would be violence and fighting? When war was a given for many generations I suppose male violence was much more normalised, though even growing up in the 80s I can recall much more street violence, at football for example.

And of course smoking. It's amazing how quickly it's become a minority activity, rather frowned on than admired.

couple, us we him her.

I find it sad women no longer dress like serving wenches.

And have wooden teeth

And men don't wear suits of armour.

( Apart from the White knights on here obviously)

Cheshire

Getting dressed up (properly) on a Friday night in Town. The Bouncer turning you away from a club because you weren’t wearing shoes or a collar.

(And the last two songs of the evening were smooches)
