Both.

Quarter the sprouts, and stir fry with ginger and garlic, with a dash of soya sauce, and a few drops of sesame oil towards the end of the cooking process.

I like my parsnips simply roasted in butter or beef dripping, with a sprinkle of salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Both will be features on my Christmas Day meal with the roast duck.

Little strips/dice of bacon. If you chop then fry it releases the bacon fat so you can use it to flavour things.

And the bits go crispy...
