As a society we should be progressing and using automation to free up leisure time.

But we ain't.

The framework of society is not keeping up and things like a guaranteed income are seen as a bad thing.

Too much division, too much greed. Those who have the power to make changes don't want to make changes.

It's a downward spiral.

"We going what does the future hold ? "

Continued expansion of the universe. On a timescale of billions of years most of the stars will use up their hydrogen fuel and either expand into red giants, shrink to white dwarfs or go nova. Within tens of billions of years the universe will be a mainly cold dark place with no light. Within hundreds of billions of years there will be nothing but scattered bits of rock and black holes left.

Eventually after maybe 10^100 years the last black hole will evaporate via Hawking radiation and all atoms will fizzle away via proton decay. The universe will then have a uniform temperature very close to absolute zero, consisting only of an occasional ultra long wavelength photon or a passing neutrino, every few billion cubic lightyears.

After that there will be no change ever over an infinite period of time, with no observer anywhere or any physical phenomena to measure time against.

"We are all going to die."

Beat me to it! The only certainty in life.

If ur looking at the future in my opinion it's only going to get better, as us older's av fooked it right up for generations to come as thwy will pay our costs .

On the other side off coin i won't be here to see it .
