Eyebrows

Ive just seen something that said the new trend is to shave off your eyebrows, either completely or just the outside half.

It got me thinking about how eyebrow fashion has changed so much over my lifetime. And about how strange it is that as a society we are so obsessed with these little patches of hair above our eyes. Why does absolutely everything about our looks have these concepts of what is or isnt beautiful. No wonder people are so self concious about their naked selves, how can anyone live up to that?

So, will you be shaving your eyebrows? Any other trends you dislike? X

I thought eyebrow bleaching was the current one? Personally I don’t like it, decent brows frame the face.

I guess eyebrows give definition of the eye area. I have always had strong eyebrows and never followed fashion on this but always kept them well-defined and strong. That is not going to change ever...

I have a serious dislike of "coffin" nails (no, not the one when you bury people)

Christ no. I suppose some people are too young to have learned from the horrors of the 90s.

Whatever the fashion, I won't do anything that removes more than a few stray hairs. (And I still favour filling in the bits of my brows with less hair)

I heard that thin brows were all the rage again

Mine are naturally like Liam Gallagher’s and they’ve yo-yo’d more than the size of my butt!! I will be keeping them as they are - I’m not giving in to fashion again

My eyebrow hides a scar. Not that I'd shave it off anyway.

Tonypandy.

Used to shave mine off all the time. Just liked the 50's arched brow.

Now they have grown back all patchy, so try and keep them tidy is enough.

I think some people look in the mirror and just decide the best thing to do is nuke the site from orbit, as it's the only way to be sure
