Aparantly since Dr Who started in 1962 Liz Truss is the only PM not to have had an episode broadcast during their term of office

Very excited.

It’s a bit like supporting non-league football - you go in expecting a bad outcome, sometimes are proven right and sometimes have your expectations wildly exceeded.

I'll catch up when I get home from work. I like Jodi Whittaker's Dr, I just wish she'd had better writing to work with. She felt like a special guest in a lot of episodes

I've not watched it since mid way through Capaldi's run. Not sure if I'll return to it, even with DT back for the episode.

The golden age of the revival series have long passed, no doctor will ever be able to live up to DT and MS.

I hope RTD can bring something back that's been missing.

My husband is particularly excited so much so he said as it's a special occasion we need to have sausages for tea.

According to my son who went to watching them filming in London, David is coming back for a few stand alone episodes when Jodie leaves, the one with Catherine Tate and Bernard god rest his soul was for the 60th special....I think that's what he said anyway!

Yes I cried, yes i geeked out, brilliant the best chibnall episode by a country mile

It will be interesting to see how the ending gets explained in cannon

I know it’s had its detractors under Chris Chibnall but I’ve generally liked the stories that have been told and the characters that have unfolded. What I don’t think has gone so well is the off-screen side of things. There hasn’t been enough promotion and frankly 32 episodes in five years is unacceptably few. Especially as that’s it now until November, so it will be 33 in six years

It has lost viewership, regardless of what people's reason are (and if we agree with or against them). Which means it's not worth the production costs or effort or even promotion.

So they either make what episodes they are doing less numerous but more quality, or more episodes and less quality.

My sin got a message from his mate with a screen shot of one of the closing credits, so I just had to go onto the iplayer to watch tonights episode, or at least the end - I stopped watching helfway through Peter Capaldi's second season.

Awesome regeneration and can't wait until the three special episodes next year.

Good to have Tennant back in the Tardis

Really enjoyed it. Enjoyed all the easter eggs. Love Doctor Who. Met from Pertwee to Whitakker and others that have played the part plus numerous companions and guests stars over the years.
