Driving at 70 in weather bad enough to aquaplane isn't particularly clever. Thankfully you were lucky not to have hurt anyone else.

What on earth. Drive to the conditions of the road and remember the tyres job is to disperse water, too much water building causes a loss of traction then you aquaplane is a water build up under the tyre

Hope it was enough of a shock to make you think next time

Exactly that!

So many zoom past and I think that you may want to get into a crash etc but for sake think of the innocents around you

Sadly, too many people are unware that a speed limit is just that a limit and its the conditons that dictate.
