You're with your kids but still using your phone for stuff. They are still to young to have one themselves.

What impact might this have on them?

It has a huge impact on them, especially language development , the number of words spoken is massively reduced. I read this study a few years ago about young mums more interested in insta than their own kids. They are more likely to give them baby tablets before phones even to keep them quiet with games. Thier early development is stunted, basically they are fucked and will struggle in education

Not necessarily it may further them this is old world thinking

The world has changed

In 5-10 years car machines are going to be obsolete or relgated to the goof

In 15-20 years gas enginers will be relagted to goofers

As the world moves faster in to technological

The new skilled jobs are computer programmers

Take some off the new high end cars comeing out if you get a flat you can only change the wheel and drive 50 miles to get you home or a place to toe or safty

Because there’s censers in the wheels for safty aspects

Car need to be returned to dealer and those censors need to re programmed to the new wheel and calibrate your average jo blogs can’t do that

Gas boliers are going smart boilers that need programming agen your average gas enginer may know about gas

But that boiler will not run without programming

Yes just handing them a table or phone maybe get them curious

Then couple off months down the line

Take it off them and get them something like

Kano Computer Kit

The world may have changed, but toddlers haven't. Giving a screen to a child that young is only going to dull their curiosity, not spark it.

Basically you are talking about very young children. All the parents I know do not spend all their time on their phones. The little kids are in the garden playing, being kids.

I don’t fully agree with this. I believe buying an iPad for my youngest when she was younger really helped. She loved all the educational things on there which were made to be fun. It definitely brought her on leaps and bounds in my opinion.

Kids who spend all their time on poxy games and PS whatevers in their rooms all day though, I don’t believe that’s healthy.

Six-year olds don't need to be millionaires. Any parent with their head screwed on would keep their children a million miles away from that kind of scenario.

That’s exactly why I suggested the Kano Computer Kit

It’s a awesome piece off kit very kid friendly and if the kid wants a computer they need to learn to build it obviously it’s kid friendly easy to build

If they want to play a game they need to build that game with building blocks off code that’s been layed out in a kid friendly terms

Basically learn them to program a computer and they don’t even release

Technology is the bain of life its been introduced to save labour, to save the thought process, to speed up things like banking, food shopping, insurance etc but it cuts out interaction, personality and life ditch it where possible I say and where you can't isolate it by having something specific for that task...... God I'm using technology now

Depends how it's used. If it's given to the child and they use it all day everyday, obviously bad. If they use it for a time and still also do other things then fine.

And how many interactions did this technology facilitate through this site?

Thats not true at all. My brother has always let his three kids play with his phone and all three are fucking geniuses with a lot curiousity. Two of them have had their own phone a while now, eldest is 13. They adapted to using apps very quickly and one of them learnt how to change the setting when she was 3, had her own preference and screamed if you changed it. They've even had tablets from the moment they could talk. They still do all the other stuff like read books, they've read a lot between them, learn languages one of them is way too advanced stuff.

They set for life and will have the best education money can buy not saying it’s good or bad and not for all

But keep a child away from technology in this day and age is a hindrance not a help

Look at bill gates

Was kicked out off school and told his computer stuff was completely nonces by teachers

Wonder how that teacher felt 10 years down the line

In fact close to 70% off the world’s biggest players never done well in school and went on to change the world and shape it in to what we have now
