"I can’t, I wake up at exactly the same time every single day! No mater what time I go to bed. Weird. How many hours sleep do need v what you want? Because those days I don’t need to get up, I’d rather not but end up just lying there looking at a Cieling trying to nod off. I’m jelous of those that sleep in, I want what you have. " naaaa I can't lie in soon as I'm awake I'm up and out

"I can't..in the week I'm up at 0300 for work so my body clock is totally messed up " Yep. I thinks that’s it, the body clock is set, and for one day it just doesn’t have a chance to do anything different.

"It's a sign of getting old. Your brain wakes you earlier and ealier closer to death as you don't have much time left so you wake up early so you have more hours in the day to be awake and to be alive. " …… I’ve never needed a stiff drink so early in the morning as much as I do now… *cries into my coffee.

"Same here, bedtime at 10pm or 2am, I'm awake at 6am give or take. But I enjoy the hour or so quiet time having breakfast and coffee before the world stirs." I used to really like my Sundays, that hour or so on my own, and then the few hours of breakfast time. Bliss.

"Oh I can and do sleep in, if I'm able to. However, my body clock is approximately nocturnal if I leave it to its own devices. It's not really sleeping in if you fall asleep at 2-3am and wake up at 10-11am. However, society doesn't cater much for the nocturnal folk and so I still go to sleep at about 2am and force myself to get up at 7am on weekdays by setting alarms, and go around in a state of chronic sleep deprivation most of the time. " This! Working from home has been a real blessing in this sense as, without a commute, I can stay up until I'm tired and still get a decent amount of sleep before work the next day. But on the OP, yes, I do enjoy a lie-in!

But on the OP, yes, I do enjoy a lie-in!" I get really annoyed at the popular perception that people who sleep later or lie in are lazy. I'm the antithesis of lazy but I don't spring out of bed at 7am without being clobbered about the head with alarms and a sexy husband to come and tell me the time!

However, I treated myself even further by listening to the radio and cuddling the dog until 7am before actually getting up. God I love Sundays

"My sleep pattern is all wrong, I go to bed at 3 or 4 in the morning and wake up around 11 and I could easily go back to sleep if I wanted When I've got to be somewhere early in the morning it's just horrible " That might be just your body clock. It's not wrong. It just doesn't fit in with the 9-5 society. I empathise because I'm pretty much the same.

When I was doing the 7:00AM starts everything was easier, everything's changed since starting Uni.
