FedEx Scam?

I keep getting emails telling me that I've got parcels waiting for me at the post office because Fedex couldn't deliver it.

I've had 6 of these messages in the last month, all with different tracking numbers.

The message asks me to click on the "print postal receipt" button, but I haven't, and wont.

The people who run our post office live next door to me and they say they haven't got anything for us.

Has anyone else had this?

Parcels that are not delivered are usually sent back to the local sorting office, not the post office.

If your not expecting anything, its usually a scam.

Fedex would never return a parcel to the post office either, after all they have been paid to deliver it to you not the Post Office.

We keep getting the fed ex ones to the generic office email address at work.

Been ignoring them for about 3 months... Especially since there's always someone in our office between 8am and 6pm, so I'm sure they could've delivered

If Fedex or the post office tried and failed ot deliver a parcel/package for you they would have left a leaflet through your door. The emails you are receiving are phishing emails and if you click the links in them you'll infect yourself with a virus that will then propogate itself to all your contacts.

When you receive one mark it a phishing scam and it'll be deleted automatically in future, if it's from the same sender. Or you can set a filter that will block them, (set the filter to screen for 'Fedex' in the subject or body of the message).
