I have a social meet first to assess my level of comfort and theirs.

Yes I do find guys with low body fat and big muscles intimidating but at my age, the majority of us have a bit of middle-aged, spread, sag, and wrinkles. And I realise that most men do not care as long as you are clean and groomed.

Few middle-aged men are expecting perfect bodies that can only be achieved sometimes by youth and plastic surgery. They want boobs of all shapes and sizes and a warm pussy and to smack any fat, flat, wide, narrow, big or small arse.

Confidence comes from within. I get that it's hard but we need to work on it.

I went to Rio's nude for the first time and I felt so liberated that it boosted my confidence to proceed on the scene/ in the lifestyle.

And at all costs protect your mental and physical well-being.

I do most of my work on myself psychologically and a small bit on my physical body.

Yes, I get the breaking anxiety too but men are.... surprisingly sturdy and physically resilient.

Their bones and muscles are larger and stronger and.....I get to try out different positions so not all of my weight is on them. lol!

I seem to go for slimmer guys (didn't realise this was such a preference till we started floating round here!) Maybe it's because I've been in a relationship with a very slim guy since I was 18, but despite my own dislike of my fat body, I know it's possible that others might find it attractive. At least one guy in the world does, anyway! I'm not particularly fussed on things like muscles, six packs etc. Take or leave. Extreme muscle looks are usually not for me, e.g. bodybuilder.

Exactly same as me. Always say i am big as profile does state i have wobbly big bits. I always need to have body stocking on that can hide so much as wont get naked til comfortable with person. When I (Mrs) started in the lifestyle as a single I felt exactly the same ‘why would a guy that looks like that find me and all my wobbly bits attractive?’

Since then I’ve learnt Curves are sexy as hell, wether they are small curves or big curves, your body is your canvas and tells the story of you and your life.

Something I think everyone needs to remember now and then is that everyone has insecurities and parts of themselves we don’t like.

Everyone finds different things a turn on and sexy, some people like a bigger girl, some people like a slim girl, some people like big guys and some like gym fit guys. I learnt to be aware and just make sure they knew I was a big girl, I always did a social so that way they really did know I was a big girl. Before any play occurred.

I also won’t meet guys with veris exclusively from bigger women. I am what I am and I’d hate to spend the time thinking are my breasts too small is my ass to small etc!

Yes totally. I’ve met some beautiful men that I wouldn’t necessarily think would be interested in me.

I was definitely a little anxious at getting naked but that quickly disappeared in the moment. Men aren’t blind, they can see what you are like and make their own mind up (I always send an almost fully nude pic because It makes me more comfortable knowing they have seen my mum tum beforehand )

What I am about to say is a bit wtf.

I do get quite a few messages from men, who are just my like my dream men, young, dark hair, just enough beard, tattoos all over (neck ones get me weak, as do hands), 6 pack (that "V"), you know the type. Do I meet them? I have met one once a few weeks ago and we went for a social and stuck out like a sore thumb together and while the meet was good, totally different people which was a shame as he was bloody yummy.

Don't get me wrong its just sex but I can't get the thought out my head that they actually give no fucks what a woman looks like and has that "any holes a goal" mentality or I get in stuck in my head, those men are just after a quick wank and I'm an easy target.

This is why I stick to men like the above but older ones who like me are carrying a little extra weight

If I'm attracted to him and he to me then I don't see a problem, irrespective of how previous women he's met look, who am I to say he can only be attracted to one type? If I project negativity about myself then that's only going to make me, as a person not a body shape, less attractive. I've gained a good bit of weight compared to my 'normal fighting wright' but I'm still the same person inside. If a guy makes contact then there's an interest, his attitude and communication content will tell me if he's an any holes a goal kinda guy, not his body type.

His answer was it's not the body shape that makes a woman sexy it's her confidence in herself that does it.

Just be you, be confident and let the sexy side out.

If your profile has clear pics of your body size and shape, then you have to accept that he finds you attractive enough to initiate contact. From there wonderful things can happen.

If your pics are of a hand, a foot, your mouth etc. and could be misconstrued, then it would be a good idea to let them know your concerns re not fitting their type.

We are all guilty of posting only favourable pics, so its a normal part of fab.

I have met ladies who were bigger than their profile pics suggested. It wasn't an issue and I had some great times. Its not just bodies we men go for.

Everything I’ve observed about men my whole life has given me the message that they aren’t attracted to bigger women. Along with the messages I’ve received from people around me, this has led me to the conclusion that my body shape is less attractive than slimmer ones.

I’m not claiming now that I believe this to be the truth for all men, but it’s all so deeply entrenched in my sense of self at this point that I’m not sure I’ll ever actually bring myself to truly believe the opposite.

I used to feel that way and there was a few guys who would happily fuck me but didn't want to be seen with me in public so that knocked my confidence down even more.

Then I met Lorenzo and things changed for better. I got chunkier during lockdown so I struggled for a while again, but my confidence is back now.

I don't meet with bigger women as I'm not attracted to them. So if a gym-fit guy has agreed to meet you, he probably finds your body attractive enough to want to meet. As long as he's seen a clear pic of your body before agreeing a time and place, I don't think you'd have much to worry about.

One of the factors contributing to this is the fact that women also like posts by other women, they tend to like posts of women that they believe are ideal. Just the same as when men like posts of other men because they admire their muscular size etc.

But reading this thread has been really interesting. Its so lovely to hear that so many people are genuinely attracted to larger ladies, and its not all about looking the way the media tells us is the most attractive. I dont see people like me portrayed as 'the sexy one' in the media. So i do not believe myself to be sexy. But look at how what we are told is sexy changes all the time. From h*roin chic to kim k, completely different body types. Maybe what is fashionable while you are a teen shapes what you to percieve as ideal.

Everyone has their own personal tastes, and you are sexy to some of them and will be their type. But maybe their own body type is immaterial to what their ideal of sexy is, and we should just accept that if they approach you they find you attractive. X

Body confidence is a big issue for me and would make me very nervous when we start meeting. Hubby tells me all the time how sexy I am but I struggle to feel that way about myself. I am trying to get better at taking compliments and feeling happy in my own skin. It’s definitely easier said than done. Some of the things we say to ourselves we would never think or say about anyone else.

They're human beings, same as the dad bod or plump men.

I do have a good conversation with them pre-meeting, to make sure they know what they are getting.
