Maybe think back to what you might have said that caused her to block you, and learn from it.

You'll never know why OP.

They will have had their reasons, but the odds on them messaging to tell you why are zero.

As previously mentioned, think back to where the conversation ended and the last things that happened before the block. They might give you a clue.

It can be as simple as a single sentence in a message or as complicated as something you wrote on your profile, a new photo, a recent verification or a forum comment.

There's generally a trigger for a block. Unless it's just a scam profile but the way to avoid those is to move from messaging on here to a phone/video call at the earliest opportunity to make sure Martha isn't in fact Arthur.

It's standard for most chats, as most people are not mutually compatible. Blocks stop further hassle

"Yup - had it a couple of times - pathetic really… but life goes on and we move on."

It's not pathetic if someone blocks you.

Obviously they have changed their minds and don't want to chat or meet you.

What is pathetic is members thinking anyone who chats to them is obliged to meet them or carry on chatting.

Members(male, female, couples ect) are not here to provide a service to others and are quite entitled to block anyone they want to.

I agree its not pathectic at all its anyones right to do that.

Shes obviously changed her mind and thats fine,I would welcome the oppurtunity to appologise if i upset her in some way as im a respectful person who would never intentially upset someone. But hey i will never know and will move on x

I am guilty of this sometimes, sometimes the more the chat goes on you pick up on things, some men get pushy or keep messaging and it feels clingy, another example is a red flag appears and you’re just not sure, it’s easier to block than chance getting abuse or begging messages

Don't get how it would be pathetic, but we instantly block if we receive a message that says meet that night or say I want to do this to you, or ones that don't read the profile and will ask what's all ready been stated, to us it doesn't appeal so block and move on

C’est la vie dude.

I don’t mind random blocks. Actually I quite like it, it saves time. What I do mind though is the ones who you spent time with on and outside fab, and one day they just decide that was it.

Instead of talking to you, they just block you to show you that your opinion, voice or feeling do not matter to them. They are above giving explanations to you and they will make you know by blocking you.

Nothing can be done about it unfortunately. But at least now you’ll know where to stand op

I probably would not do that to anybody unless they had done something so outrageous that it would seriously clash with my values.

It is not just guys that get blocked. I have experienced it myself though - I was blocked and had no idea why (I never send pictures so that was not the reason)
