I’m starting travelling with my job again post covid

I’d love to arrange meets when I’m staying overnight in hotels

Anyone like to do this or had any success this way ?

I have done it several times.

Never had any luck with last minute things but have found if I start looking a few weeks in advance then you have time to find people, chat for a bit and decide to meet.

Alternatively I would just go to a club!

Often get asked to join men in their hotel! Never would to risky! One asked yesterday he's staying in hotel right next door to where I work (he dont know)for 6 months working down here Mon to Friday! Probably has a wife up north lol x

Yes, but again, I think it's a lot easier as a woman, with the added "trans" making it even more of an exotic/forbidden fruit ship passing.

It works both ways too. I live in the town centre mid way between a Travelodge and Premier Inn. "Whose nearby" sometimes gets fruity... Mango or papaya anyone?

I've found the percentage of those who travel for work doing the cheaty thing are higher than those not doing the cheaty thing. That's more than enough for me to blanket ban the entire group to be on the safe side and I know there are others who do the same.

Only ever made one exception to my avoidance of this.

Really not something I'm comfortable with since I don't enjoy quick anything but we just clicked really well, one of those things you can't always predict

Away with work recently. Was swamped with guys messaging as I was nearby.

I wouldnt be inviting a random to a hotel in a place I dont know.

Your traveller may be moving on, so there may ess incentive for building success for you.

An expenses paid hotel meal isn't much of a pull, even when they try to ply you with copious volumes of booze, either.

Back in the days when I had a 'proper job', there were a couple of occasions when I was sent on two-day courses which involved a hotel stay...

....I tried arranging meets in advance with prospective playmates who were local to the area, but to no avail...

....when my wife was away with work for a week was a different story, however, as it meant I could arrange evening meets, rather than my usual daytime ones!

We are close to Stansted airport so get messages from people staying overnight all the time (mostly men, occasionally the odd couple). We have met somebody visiting for a night and don't rule it out again but it gets very tedious and don't think many of the men trying this have much success.
