It's not the size ...it's how you use it ? but we've got a panasonic 50" set up for movies job plus full proper surround none of this sound bar bollocks ..and a nice sky remote and controlled by magic as when you switch on the sky box it turns on the suuround amp plus the tv !!!

I think mine is 46” and ancient

we inherited it off my brother so not even sure how old it is, but it’s quite unique as it has a weird line going all the way across it that seems to be getting thicker

I never got it for the 8k content

But it upscales 4K to 8K witch means I run 8k games better than even the latest 4090 gpu

Sins it upscale from 1440p to 8K

I can have the Xbox in 4K mode and upscale to 8K witch gives me a better resolution than any game pc on the market to day

But it was primarily bought for the hdmi 2.1 VRR 120hz mode when I got it in 2019 they hadn’t release any 4K 2.1 VRR 120hz VRR tvs so I futcher proofed my self and got a 8k one that could

I get the logic.

But the human eye can't determine that I creases resolution unless you're within 2 feet.

And if you're that close you're fucking up your eyes!!

My phone shoots video in 8k but only displays it at 3k on its own screen and tbh the 4k recordings are far superior.

I just don't see the point. Much like ultra fast broadband. If I can watch 4k content adequately whilst browsing the net, downloading and uploading content in seconds then why would I pay over the odds for faster speeds that literally save me a second or two?
