I was watching old episodes of 'Castle' last night with my pal, it stars Nathan Fillion who used to play Captain Reynolds in FireFly.

One of the 'Castle' eps was set at Halloween, it really made me smile...

Fillion comes out wearing the exact outfit he used to wear in Firefly lookng as handsome as ever in it!

His daughter says "what are you s'posed to be?"

Fillion: "A space cowboy!"

Daughter: "right"

Fillion: "I thought I'd dust it down and give it an airing"

Daughter: " It's been 5 years dad...isn't it time you moved on?"

I loved the scene! I thought it was sweet that FireFly got a mention

Was anyone else gutted when that show got cancelled... it had sooo much going for it, and not one duff character amongst them.

Loved that show, just watched them through again last week it's amazing that got cancelled when you look at some of the crap that gets churned out series after series elsewhere!

I got into firefly well after it was cancelled. I got lent the series and after watching my reaction was "why the hell did they cancel this??"

The film Serenity was also good and some consolation but more of the TV show would have been better.

'Serenity' rocked! It certainly would've been great to see the characters unfold over time But I think he did a great job of winding it up for the fans... even though it was a little sad

Yes, Wash's death was particularly surprising. Think he wanted to kill a few off though to end speculation about the series coming back.

It was better for me, I watched Serenity first and that way the characters killed off were reborn for me when I watched the series.....

Hang on, what's with all the girls on here talking SciFi?

I love Firefly. It definitely shouldn't have been cancelled.
