Baklava. I'm afraid it wasn't for me. The texture was reminiscent of the sweepings of the floor of a budgerigar's cage.

Here in Spain I had Octopus and squid for the first time and paella with chicken and seafood mixed together! Was very good!

I love it, doesn't look great agreed and I was wary first time but once I got it in my mouth omg I was hooked!

I try to make slight variations of the old classics .

Made a salad with chicken that tasted like Turkish chicken kebab the other day was delicious .

Not so recent but new ( for me ) : blueberry cake . Came out superb . Winner .

Thai green curry with squid and coconut is my favourite curry

I’m Portuguese . I love squid ( respect to animals )

Stuffed squid is one of my favourite dishes

Easy to prepare as well . Basic . To die for .

I tried Halloumi recently.

The first mouthful I liked; the second was so-so and the third revealed unto me that I found it ultimately, rather bland sadly.

A5 Kobe beef, I know it's technically beef, but tasting it was like tasting a new meat, but I did find if you eat too much, you get jelly belly, like when you eat too many haribo.
