Agree plus imagine paying for a hotel then realising you don't really want to have sex with the person you have just met

All valid points

Totally different if you're meeting with an established partner as I do.

It's a step away from home and all the responsibilities. A free space to leave your cares at the door and just focus on each other's pleasure.

No risk of an unexpected visitor or interruptions of whatever kind.

No tidy up needed before or after.

Lots of pluses

If you're a couple you just stay there by yourselves, chilling out, eating Pringles in your pants and having a decent break. It's a win-win

Tbh if I was ever minded to meet a new connection at some point, I'd not be telling them my home address. And I'd not be turning up at a random address alone.

You could argue it's a false sense of security in a hotel but there's no great option here really and it's the better of the three imho.

Also, I don't live alone so there's others to consider

I like regular so I find hotels quickly get too expensive and it all fizzles out too quickly. So other than the occasional treat its usually a no for me.

You have to know how to vet people before you meet them and then improvise in the situation....or have I just been lucky?

I fine hotel rooms very erotic. Lots of mirrors and a locked door. Sometimes unique or unusual shower facilities.

"Hotel meets ? Thoughts expensive "

one night in a cheap hotel in London is 100 or less for two people. so 50 each. I can afford this once a week like a good dinner at a restaurant.

I'm not rich. I make enough to save a little and I don't have kids, a car or a mortgage to support. I don't mind splitting meet/date bills.

Quick and dirty is a London hotel. lol! Easier to do dogging in the countryside but there's always someone about in London in public....including criminals and the mentally unstable.

Oh dear...don't know what hotels you've been to.

I've been to many with lovers, committed partners, alone, one nightstands, FB, FWB...didn't catch anything....

Where does the sleaze come in? As long and it's private and clean enough, I'm good.

Yup. I'm neurodivergent and I tend to un-mask at home and it's my safe space. I've experienced trauma in the past at home so I don't really let people into my flat and I don't always expect people to let me into their home.

Hotel/club/spa is neutral territory until trust and comfort is built.

For me personally there is no other perfect substitute.

A clean and neutral environment, a perfect setting, the sensual build-up, anticipation and the long-awaited embodiment of dopamine-filled pleasure and entwining.

Due to trauma, I don't let anyone non-professional into my home. Only my mum has been once. My sister came for an hour.

Definitely don't go to someone's home without meeting them first for a 2-hour social so I can sus them out first. Women's safety 101. If I go to their home after the social meet, then I give my saftey buddy the address.

Hotel meets are great. Its on neutral ground, and you know what to expect so no surprises. I get all the people saying about first meets but thats why it should be sort out before, and there should never be pressure, and anyone can still say no, whether in a hotel, personal house or club.

I'd like regular but people are busy and can't always accomodate so I can afford to split the cost of a hotel once a week.

I'm busy in London too.

Yep, big fan of dogging in theory, but in practice we aren't very good at it. We enjoy the anticipation though

A hotel meet would be a lot more relaxing

I prefer to accommodate at mine , as we can drink and sleep over with no commitments next day .

Or visit the lady .

But is hard to gain that trust from new strangers . Cause of them weirdos out there .

So … hotel is a good way out when is needed .

Just very expensive tho . Specially when u have so much on ….

Yeah that’s the thing . Gain the trust , making a friend .

That’s what I like about socials and happy hang out .

Not just for feeling safe but to know the lady

By the time something gets to happen u actually have it with someone you like

And not just a body of a stranger

That’s the thing

I prefer a couple

Of socials then accommodate with sleeping over more then welcome .

I think hotels is more appropriate for hook ups or one-offs . Or someone who has kids or family n can’t accommodate.

Then go in hotel . The money we spend in hotel to be invected by 12 pm May just well have a meal or a decent take away , few drinks and a have a good laugh …

I can accommodate, I prefer . Food , space , no rush no pressure x x

Need stop arriving cause I only paied 56,4 pence for t this advert x x

Thank you for reading

Just the whole thought of meeting in hotel is the sleaze bit never actually met anyone for sex in a hotel! Either mine or theirs! I can rarely have people over which is why I've found the best fwb I've had in past can accom and are local had a few of these set ups over past few years! Nothing to do with catching anything at all x
