I suspect not, but could a 39 yr old woman have any chance of getting away with over-the-knee socks, outside of school girl fancy dress?

I've just seen some completely fabulous ones...

I know the answer to this really

It's difficult isn't it, part of you thinks "sod it, it's mu life" and the other part thinks "will I look ridiculous".

Get them and if you only ever wear them at home you'll still get pleasure from them

Oh, might not be a good idea to go out wearing the socks with the tiger feet!

Just a thought that's all ........

How do you know they aren't tiger socks, eh?

It could be part of my new superheroine tiger costume.

Or I've been watching too much Arrow and too many superhero films.

Depends on the shape of your legs I suppose, and what you would wear them with, I thought they where to be worn with a short skirt or shorts, so would you feel comfortable wearing them,

But if you do buy some we need pics or you never bought them lololol

Never understood why clothing should be restricted by age.

Think it depends on what the whole outfit and if she will look good/feel good whilst wearing it

I wear over the knee socks with heels and victorian style corsets and bloomers in swinging clubs. I like them with high heeled Mary Jane shoes. I favour the ones with lace and bows etc.

I like them and I have my own unique style which is not encumbered by age. I wear them to look a little different from the usual stockings that every other woman is wearing

Just off to sit on my roof to be rescued by "Tigger woman".......

I totally agree with this and I have always had this view. I have always added my own twist to outfits and I sew various embellishments onto my clothes too.

I don't ever seek acceptance from others in what clothes I wear. If people don't like them then don't look at me has always been my motto but I'm not to change to fit into what society feels a 45 year old woman should wear
