They would serve as a natural filter to those who would be instinctively drawn to my thespian voice, and repel those who wish to engage in 'juvenile' text speak.

It'd be so much harder to send someone a quick message when on a train

I love voice notes. So insanely hot. And I get to wield my weapon-of-mass-destruction customer service voice

Really interesting question! I do think it would raise the overall level of messages in general, improve the quality like. Because it's more real, leaving a voice note, there's more of YOU in it so to speak. So you'd be bound to take more care, be less tempted to indulge in stupidity or insults which seem so easy to just type, then hit send... x

I think most men expect me to have a feminine and well spoken voice! So I'd probably do a great job scaring them off with my Manc accent. I might have a less busy inbox if that was an option.

I regularly exchange voice notes with someone and I adore his voice. I’m not sure what he thinks of mine but we’re still exchanging so it can’t be that bad

I don't use voice messages , some of my friends always send me voice notes and I am just typing out responses probably faster than they can record verbally

Just to clarify, I don’t generally want to exchange voice notes with people. I’ll stick to typed messages please

It's YOUR accent, so of course it wouldn't be dreadful. No accent is dreadful, outwith its owner.
