Did you know that some of the manuka honey on your supermarket shelves is fake,not all but some,and it's bleeding dear! I use local raw honey from a farmer near me

It's most common in the US. I once read that nearly all of their honey is fake.

It's not such a big worry in the UK as it has to be certified before it's sold.

I've used Manuka honey for years to treat everything from a sore throat to acne and it really works.

And real Manuka honey comes from Australia not your local farmer, unless they're somehow growing tea tree plants.

New Zealand, its a curtain plant that the bees frequent that gives it medicinal qualities I'm told

Local honey straight from the hive is pure raw honey, better than any imported stuff
