"Simple as that. What is a friend?"

Friend is an expensive word .

Is not a mate that drinks , and hang out . That u only good to keep they table entertained.

A friend cares , protects , share trust and honesty . Is there for you and you can count on it . . . Supports you . Helps when you hurt .

If sexy friendship even better

My first Fab girl , in first social became my NSA , she is a very good friend . We had a super sweet , no pressure sexy friendship . I respect her .

We don’t see each other any more , but we are Stil friends , on WhatsApp . When I feel low she is there for me . When she feels low I’m there for her . We support each other .

My friend is someone I met when I was really low...life has not been kind to her past year and she's drifted away more and more every day.i

want to reach out and help her but if she doesn't want that

,all I can do is be here for her if she ever needs someone

I miss her every day.whether or not she still sees me as a friend doesn't matter, I will always be hers.

Someone who reciprocates and gives as much as they take.

Someone who keeps your secrets and doesn't use them as currency with others.

Someone you can expose yourself to and strip yourself bare without ever removing an item of clothes.

There are friends and then there are friends you can be naked with while fully dressed.

True friendship comes when the silence between two people is comfortable, they understand your past, accepts you just the way you are but willing to tell you if you need to change even if you may not like it. They are someone who doesn't need to be messaged to know that they are your friend, they just know but will listen when you need to chat. Few of us listen, we think we do but we're usually trying to formulate what we want to say next rather than hearing what is being said. They don't expect anything in return in being your friend because that in itself is enough.

To my one and only bébé...

Thank you for being a friend

Traveled down a road and back again

Your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant

I'm not ashamed to say

I hope it always will stay this way

My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And if you threw a party

Invited everyone you knew

Well, you would see the biggest gift would be from me

And the card attached would say

Thank you for being a friend

If it's a car you lack

I'd surely buy you a Cadillac

Whatever you need, any time of the day or night

I'm not ashamed to say

I hope it always will stay this way

My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And when we both get older

With walking canes and hair of gray

Have no fear, even though it's hard to hear

I will stand real close and say

Thank you for being a friend.

I'm picky okay? People suck and let you down and don't understand the real meaning of loyalty or honesty so yeah, proper blood-in-blood-out friends are rare.

A name I only truly assign to a handful of people and they have been in my life for many years.

Real friendship, in my world does not happen overnight but evolves over a long period of time. It involves a deep level of trust, affection, respect and acceptance from both sides and a deep felt loyalty in difficult times.

Friendship is incompatible with lies. Somebody who lied to me for any other reason than to protect me (the only exception I would make) is no longer my friend. It does not mean I stop talking to them but they are no longer at the same level as before.

Indeed, I have circles of friendship. Only the innermost get the scoop, doesn't mean I can't enjoy the company of others on a more superficial level but still in a genuine way

I think you can tell a lot about a person by the number of friends they have for 10 or 20 years etc. Real friendships cost a lot.

Some people have a whole new set of friends every few years

A friend is someone who you feel you can talk to and can talk to you in confidence. You have each other’s backs and even when one of you is being a dick it’s perfectly ok to be flawed and except that. You don’t have to live in each other’s pockets or be in each other’s ears every day but pick up where you left off the last time and have great stories.

A friend is someone you enjoy the company of. Someone who gets you as a person. You support each other, you're comfortable around each other and there's loyalty between you both. It's someone you look forward to chatting with.

I think everyone has a different definition of what a friend is, but that's a friend to me. A very good friend.

I'm not in touch with a single person from my schooldays because the friendship was hard work and all one way.

I was there for them in times of need, if they needed support or money or companionship but none of them reciprocated so I let all those friendships fizzle out.

I've had work colleagues over the years but none that I spent time with outside the working environment and we never set foot in each others homes.

I can honestly say from my mid 20s until my mid 40s I didn't have a single male friend.

I now have maybe a dozen including one I met through a fab social group.

Friends aren't supposed to be hard work.
