Depends on the situation. If I'm parking on a driveway/hard standing off a main road, I'd revverse on. In a car park I'd normally drive straight in and reverse out.

Depends on how I need to get back out, some angles are awkward if other cars park poorly you could get blocked in, also on whether I need access to the boot

Do you know, it irks me when I see people that have reversed into a spot in a supermarket car park, then start banging their tins of beans against someone else's car as they waddle down the gap with multiple bags in their hands, just because they didn't have the foresight or common sense to realise that they'd need to put their shopping in the boot of their car

Normally reverse in unless the gap is big & lots of traffic behind, then I go in forwards , up on to the pavement , then down & level it up. Reversing is much easier though in very tight spaces

I usually reverse park, the issue of access to the boot does not bother me as I do my supermarket shop at 7am on a Saturday and take advantage of all the empty wider Mother & Child spaces.

My last partner, God rest her soul......Her "don't you fucking dare laugh at me reversing into this gap. Look I've broken a fingernail now! I'm warning you, legs are shut for a week if you laugh". Me, sitting in passenger seat crumpled up, pissing myself laughing. No nookie for a week but sooooo worth it

Depends how much room there is. I prefer to reverse in, but my street is so narrow I'd end up scratching cars parked on the other side if I reversed in.

Depends on what I'm doing....

Shopping - forward park so I can use the boot.

Everywhere else - reverse park

Also takes me a few mins to find a space I like as my cars quite big and wide it won't fit in many small spaces

I only drive in the Caribbean. I hire a 4-wheel drive jeep with power steering and park wherever whatever is easiest. I can't parallel park to save my life.

I cycle in London and park my folding bike inside, preferably locked to an immovable object bolted to the floor.

Driving in London would override my usual anxiety to crisis anxiety..no thanks. It's the last resort.

Reverse unless I have my son and his wheelchair, almost everywhere that has a disabled bay forces a wheelchair user to be unloaded into the road because they keep putting bollards in the middle of the gap at the end of the disabled spaces so you can unload onto a footpath. Obviously that would be to inconvenient for people to either wait 2 minutes or go around.. so just run over a disabled person instead...
