Have you deleted, hidden your profile or had a prolonged break from fab and what brought you back?

I feel like i am getting to the stage where im ready for a break again. It seems to be the same faces on hot pics and the same forum threads being interacted by the same people.

For me it seems like looking at constant naked pics or talking in a sexual manor on a daily basis could possibly be numbing my senses in the real world with regards to my sexual appetite.

This is by no means an attention seeking thread i am genuinly curious as to what makes people take a break then log back in after time away.

I’ve deleted 3 or 4 times. Now I just hide my profile and I’ve done that lots.

As soon as it becomes no fun anymore then I take a break.

Hidden. Yep - never.

Prolonged break?

Took a short one of about 5/6 years but just left the profile sat there going dusty. Sometimes other things in life take priority and Fab takes a back seat. Which is natural and healthy.

Never seen the point of deleting and starting again under a new identity when you can just log off or hide, but plenty do it, although given the fact many seem to have already set up a new profile waiting in the wings before going UNLOS I really don't get it.

Yes, I’ve gone into hiding a couple of times.

It’s a distraction when I’m working from home - I don’t know if I could do my job properly if I gave it undivided attention

Occasionally hidden. Completely left once but came back after a few months, just for the forums. I like the variety of perspectives here. Whilst I may flirt here, I'm not looking for sex through fab anymore.

I wonder if the problem that you're experiencing can be attributed quite simply to frustrated expectations..? i.e. you continue to EXPECT that your fab efforts will necessarily lead to sex. The truth is - they WON'T (necessarily). Accept this truth, treat fab as a bit of fun, and I think you'll find that your experience of being on here will improve immeasurably.

Of course, this is easier said than done!

I dropped fab when I started a business. I needed 100 percent focus, and fab could be a distraction , checking chats and conversations and having to stay logged on.

I get where you're coming from, I (Male half) is always on forum reading same shit different day ( and we've only been on here for 5/6 weeks ). However we prefer not to talk to other couples about sex or in a sexual way. Rather build up a friendship/connection then arrange a meet. Don't get me wrong sometimes we talk sex but I would rather talk about clubs, experiences & try to stimulate their minds. Then if / when we meet let our sex do the talking.

But yes some of these forum posts are very repetitive. And they do get tiring. This is coming from us and weve not been here long. So can see why people would take a break or delete profile for a while.

Longest break I had was when I was studying and didn't need the distraction.

Not at all mate, im not just looking for sex and actually just enjoy the interaction in the forums and viewing different peoples opinions on things. I have found that it is becoming a bit of an addiction where i am constantly checking for new updates or messages (not that i get many lol)

I also feel that because of viewing such material on a daily basis it is making me numb towards my real life sexual experiences i.e the naked body isnt as exciting seen as though ive looked at 50 different naked women that day for example.

I’ve never deleted or hidden my profile. I’m very wary of people who delete and come back re-incarnated / re-invented.

I sometimes break for 1-2 weeks and I use daily limits for all apps and sites using iPhone screen time
