For me,the order is a post in the forum catches my eye, followed by the profile pic, followed by the profile.

Other pictures? About 50-50 whether I click on them or not.

If the profile is devoid of narrative (or meaningful narrative) then I will defer to the photographs. But then photos rarely tell me anything insightful on their own.

I would say they’re definitely more visual. I was told I’d never get a meet without pictures on my profile. However I did so clearly they aren’t all visual.

But it doesn’t mean that if the pictures are appealing that I will text, especially if the text isn’t appealing. However, if the pictures are not appealing for a number of reasons and not necessarily because I don’t find the woman attractive, but the text pleased my sense, I will text.

I don't search for profiles and only click on people I don't recognise in the forums.

The first thing I look at is age and if they fall outside my preferences I don't look any further.

Otherwise I will always read the bio before looking at the pics and often never look at the pics at all if the bio isn't interesting.

Missy x i think it depends on the initial pic,, if its as lovely as your pic most guys with browse and fab the pics then read the profile,, stunning figure and bottom by the way,,, fav pic the one with the leaf dress flashing boob,, very artistic,,

Pictures do catch my eye, normally.. then its read the profile time, if age range includes me.

Yes it maybe visual first, but a nice profile is what makes me send a message.

Or a great sense of humour on forum, will pique my attention too

I think everyone regardless of sex will look at a profile photo ten look at the text before deciding if that person was for them or not.

Op. Probably, if I see someone I think looks nice, I look at them. But if someone is saying something that’s interesting, I’ll look at them too.

So how do women view profiles, because I think women are the same also. That’s why tinder and all those other ‘swipe’ apps lead with the photo and not the bio.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

The first thing I do when I open a profile is click on "Send Message" because it will tell me if I've been filtered out. Saves a lot of time.
