Dubai & Nottingham

I used to when younger, more for spiritual reasons than health. These days I just regularly go for a walk (without phone) or swim. I find it much easier to switch off and breathe properly during light exercise than meditation

I do incorporate breathing in to my warm up stretches and will take a few minutes to lay peacefully and clear my head during my workouts. A mini meditation perhaps.

That's why I do cold water swim/immersion being among nature and the cold water gives clarity

I meditate daily and am starting to consciously do holotropic breathwork. It's transformational stuff man, people don't realise the full impact or effects it has.

Most evenings I do yoga nidra or breathing exercises to relax myself.

For us to get a clearer understanding of the way we are all meditating, how do we 'define' meditation?

I see, that meditation is not this clearing the mind of thoughts, nor a practice. But rather an observing of those thoughts and watching their movements attentively.

I doubt many of us are doing transcendental meditation

I observe any thoughts, acknowledging them then letting them go. I have done some very deep meditations following Dr Joe Dispenza work
