Woman blocked me and said I was just after “wank material” because I wanted to see a face photo before chatting more. She said I hadn’t said much about myself to which I Insisted on a face photo first as I don’t want to waste my time myself. Guessing she wasn’t worth my time and wasn’t special. Is this all that happens on this site?

Welcome to the world of fab. I got blocked yesterday from a guy who sent me a message. When I was back on four hours later and read ot went to look at his profile I was blocked.

Just don't worry about it and move on.

What happens is that too many guys don't read profiles before messaging and then wonder why they get blocked. If a profile says no smokers or you must accommodate it's there for a reason.

Generally if you're sending the first message it's on you to send the face pic first as its both polite and comes across as you being more serious about a potential meet.

If she made the first move then it's not unreasonable to ask for one from her.

I think face pics should be exchanged - so when you agree to swap face pics it attaches a verified face pic to each mail from both parties or automatically sends a link to both parties registered face pics - often I send a face pic after chatting with someone and will not get one back - which is just plain rude - even if you aren’t someone’s type its nice to know who you’re chatting with. If you want to see a face pic then be willing to show yours… I imagine when i send mine over the women are intimidated and think he’s way out of my league and cples probably the bloke thinks no way im letting that sex machine near my mrs - he’ll ruin her and she’ll end up fantasising about him all the time

I get that - but you would have to tick a box to agree to swap face pics so you chat for a while and get along and one suggests to swap face pics - if you both agree you tick a box saying ok and the others do and the system sends the links to both- you see each other at the same time - if its a no then its a no - i think thats fair ?

Exactly this, I'd rather my face didn't end up in the tabloids because someone thinks they were owed something. Just because someone is happy to send their face doesn't mean they will automatically get one back out of politeness. This is always explained.

Got abuse from someone because they sent a face pic after I explicitly said I don't send one until a meet looks likely. They accused me of being fake for not sending an agreed picture in return.

Was quite happy to block lol

Op that fine if you didn't want to continue chatting before you saw a face pic. It's also fine for her to not want to send you one early in a chat and to block you if you made her feel uncomfortable. Chalk it down to experience and move on.

I don't send a face pic early in a chat but I also have never asked anyone for a face pic. I find when we chat for a bit it happens anyhow. I find it pushy when some one tries to force me to send one early on and if they continue I stop chatting. Mainly because face pics are used as a commodity on here by some and are shared along with other information on others so now I'm very wary of whom I share info and pics with. I know that won't suit everyone and that's fine as so far anyone I met it hasn't bothered.

Yeah I don't mind sending face pics anytime really but I tend to hold back to see if even the conversation is intriguing me enough to warrant a face pic most people I talk to on here are just doing that talking and if I ask for a face pic after talking sometime they won't show me a face pic I feel it ain't going anywhere so why bother! I get the usual off guys "I don't want my face allover the Internet I prefar to just meet face to face" it's like no mate...

I need to actually see your face to see if am physically attracted to you end of!! And same for you with me...I ain't walking into a place and not having a clue what you look like...thats certainly not gonna happen...

Then sometimes when we meet I usually get the you don't look like I expected you to look like and it's like good or bad I sent you numerous pics...
