I find it disturbing that boxing is still considered a legitimate activity. Given the furore over head injuries in football and rugby which only have concussion injuries as a side issue, how can a contest between people attempting to knock each other out be acceptable?

My Girl is a huge fan (think it takes her back to her days in the ring). But personally (like most sports) I have no intrest in watching so sadly I just can't relate or share her excitement and passion for it. However as long as there's an ale and a packet of pork scratching in it for me I'm content. Plus I just adore watching her light up when she's watching it and shouting at the TV. Makes me so happy just seeing how much she loves it.

All the recent big stadium fights I’ve attended seem to be full of idiots d off their heads. I prefer watching at home these days although you can’t beat a good domestic fight at York Hall.

Done a lil bit of boxing (4 years) but mostly focus on the mma side of it. 6 years of kickboxing, 7 years of Jiu Jitsu. Its so good for the mind. The most therapeutic part of my life for sure.

Agree about the Mayweather comparison, Sheilds has come on massively since amateur days. I think she just shades it on skill but I'd back Marshall to have the power, going to be an interesting scrap.

The fight is on sky sports boxing YouTube channel plus is on sky showcase which most people will have as part of most basic virgin/sky TV packages
