Mogwai Fear Satan - Mogwai

It's probably not even my favourite but it's one that I keep coming back to and it's totally euphoric

Lalo Schifrin - Bullitt theme, Dirty Harry incidental music, he also did a version of the Jaws theme which sounds like it's wearing a pimp hat!

Pretty much most of jazz but fave probably Giant Steps by John Coltrane recorded in 1959. Sax playing is mind blowing and great live watching more mortal players just about getting through. Nicknamed "the most feared track in jazz"

Not even sure where to start with big band jazz. So many absolute bangers. Incidentally Whiplash a great film on that topic if you haven't seen with Whiplash and Caravan featuring.

Svolta Definitiva - Ennio Morricone is a b_ast of a tune.

People often overlook the jazz and funk-influenced work he did for the Italian cop thrillers in the 70s

Gary Moore's live cover of Roy Buchanan's The Messiah Will Come Again.

12 minutes of perfect guitar playing that covers every emotion you can think of and most of it was improvised.
