Like you said, there's nothing you can do about it so why worry?

It will bother some people and not others.

I've never seen the need for a fight.

My height (or lack thereof) is something I would say works for me as much as it has worked against me.

I was short AND fat as a teen and was the butt of many a joke and jibe.

Never saw the need to fight - just walked away thinking 'whatever, dickhead'

I an inch or so shorter than you and I've never had a problem. Most of my girlfriends have been taller, some of them significantly. Love it if C wears heels when we go out; love to emphasise the height difference ...she's already an inch taller than me without them

I'm well over six feet tall in my heels and although not fat, I am an imposing woman. I'm also a bit gobby and a bit overbearing so my preference is for tall men with a confident personality.

Having said that, I have played with men shorter than average in clubs and of course, have had a lovely time but on a one-to-one basis, I prefer at least as tall as me.

It is all about attraction and us humans can't control what we are attracted to.

I have a preference for tall men, however, both jay and my ex husband are 5ft 6". With being 5ft 1 myself doesnt really make much difference. Quite nice being the same height as someone when i have my heels on

Yes, being short is a problem, specially for the UK women.

I am not from around nor I never actually tried to actively engage a woman here, but the fact is that in british women profiles, tall guys are often demanded. If that is out in the open for some, i believe that there are many many others that won't honestly say that because it will make them look bad in the picture or too demanding :D

In all fairness, your initial comment was pedantic.

It should, however, really have been left there.

I don't have hang ups I put this thread up as a bit of a laugh as people say they are looking for tall men. I really don't care I am the height I am just got a bit upset when my dyslexia was dragged out but hay ho everyone knows now so no harm done

Worry not about your dyslexia, a few people who post in the forums have it. Most of us just want to know what you think, and how you express it, not how your grammar or spelling is, unless you're one who nit-picks about them and make a mistake yourself, Then they are fair game and get the piss ripped!

It doesn't bother me as I am only tiny in height. My OH is 6ft though and I'm used to standing on tip toes to hug him so I'm pretty versatile

Hi, doesn't matter to me at all about height, although in saying that, don't like a guy to be too tall as I end up with a crick in my neck
