Antibiotic resistance killing millions

Reports that over 1.2 million and 60,000 babies die each year because of the spread of bacteria and viruses that are resistant to medicines and India is suffering the most. Will we see this trend increase and like expectancy plummet to levels not seen since medieval times.

It's all over the news ..

What is going on here guys..

Medieval life expectancy was 55. Today in Central African Republic it is 54.

Been happening for years. Bugs get resistant to antibiotics - one of those annoying things. One cause is the overuse of ABx - again, we in the west fellate ourselves regularly but we’re relatively tight on at needs them, certainly in the UK. In many other countries you can literally buy ABx at the market. It’s stuff like that which is bad but no one wants to address it - easier to beat us up in the UK…
