Anyone got tips on how to stop my motorbike tyre leaking air from around the rim of the wheel, that does not involve removing the tyre to clean up the rim ?

I did consider putting a sealant into it, but it might not with it being right in the rim. I did have the rim cleaned up on the last MOT and it was ok for a while, but now it's leaking again. probably down to it sitting around for long periods without use.

I had 3 leaks on my old car, 2 on the bead and one from around the valve, and all were sealed with tyreweld or whatever it's called. Lasted around 2 years so far...

I have a caravan and I got some stuff to put into the tyres that self fixes punctures. One of the wheels on my caravan had a very slight leak around the rim. Don't think it was cleaned properly when I had the tyres done. But this stuff has sealed it. And it lasts for the life of the tyre and easily washes away

If you can break the bead then you can hopefully clean it your self then inflate again. The tire stays on the rim. It's really not that hard. They sell a paste you can put on the bead to to help seal it as well. Machine Mart has cheap bead breakers.

I'm gonna be that guy and say - get it done properly. Don't mess with bodging tyres they're one of the most important safety features of any vehicle.

I've had success with Green Slime, it does seem to seal and lasts a long time. Be careful on a motorbike tho.

Fully deflate the tyre and try to resettle the bead (seal) by slightly bouncing the wheel and rotating. Inflate the tyre and hopefully the bead will pop into place and seal nicely.

Tip…..clean the rim whilst deflated

I,ve installed "slime" into all of my bike tyres & bicycle tyres, it's green & a tyre sealant.

Not sure it'll work on a rim if the leak area is too big but worth a try and you'll see the green slime as it seals which you can cean the excess off .

You'll need a paddock stand & access to an airline. Good luck.

This. Tires and brakes are the two things that shouldn’t be messed with IMHO.
