You have skype and a username, I have skype and a username.

We can talk online free of charge, or chat via cam.

Or you can call someone on a phone line at very low cost.

Basically....

I use Tango or Viber. Free calls and video calls to anywhere in the world to anyone else who has it. Easy to use and once you download it and ask it to check your phone book it tells you which of your contacts have it too.

Not far wrong as they share 80% of the same code in the latest manifestation.

You can now link your MSN accounts to your Skype Accounts as they are phasing out MSN Messger.

Bloody appalling idea if you ask me. MSN - stable, fairly good interface.

Skype. Complete bag of spanners, interface designed by demented stoat and slower than a pig in treacle.

These days too many addons and bloatware with both. Years ago this ran far more smoothly but there was less opportunity to throw advertising at you.

Yeah - its all about the revenue streams and with Skype, Microsoft have a opportunity to tap into the MSN market with a product which has potential revenue generation built right in.

One of the best is Pidgin - its open source, free and works across multiple chat platroms (Yahoo, MSN, AOL etc)

Sadly it hasn't yet got Voice & Video for Windows users.

To put it simply Skype is an internet telephone. You can talk to people PC to PC for free. You can also use web cams so you can see each other.

If you wish you can also buy credit so you can phone landline and mobile phones.

length of rope which can be held in both hands and swung over your head allowing you to jump when it gets to your feet, repeat this action until bored

can be used by 2 people to swing the rope and multiple people to skype in the middle

hope this helps

They are in fact the same now as MSN is being merged/closed in preference to Skype (Microsoft bought Skype last year).

Ive just bought a microphone with mine. I tried it out with callum last night. I could see and hear him but apparently he "couldnt be bothered" to type in the box. I do have a cam here so will connect that up to it as well. Seems easy enough.

Skype is a system for chatting to people over the Internet, either just by typing, or talking (with or without video.)

You take a length of rope, hold the ends in both hands, making sure the middle bit reaches the ground.

You then rotate it clockwise (or anti clockwise depending from what side your looking) over your head, and just before it the middle bit reaches the ground again, you jump.

It can be quite complicated, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

No need to thank me,it's what i do.
