Not a doctor but when I've had it and gotten physio it has eased.

Try and find the centre of the knot and press long slow deep and steady. Just hold the pressure, don't manipulate it. And slowly release. Do it a few times through the day, once you feel it start to loosen you can start to massage and disburse.

It will hurt when you press at first but the pain easing is when I lift off

* but obv don't go crazy , not a doctor, just a fellow sufferer *
