I recently read a post on here of somebody essentially deciding to go on holiday somewhere on their own and spending a weekend away, this got me thinking of doing something similar so I was wondering if anyone knew of good hotels in Edinburgh?

Get in touch with Backpacker, although Edinburgh is a lovely City, he'll take you to far sunnier climes

I got a few!!

Strangely enough I've been all around the UK but not further North than Blackpool so never been to Scotlad or Ireland. Wouldn't go there in October anyway lol. Take a brolly

No I'm following the Sun now want to try and get back to Norway next year

Spontaneous is always good. I never plan just wall forward and see what happens

Lovely here but do need some rain! Rained the other day really heavy but for about an hour then sunny. I'm going to go North for Summer and South for winter.
