Gateway to the Beacons

Quiet night no fear no hurt

Sat alone watching the sky

Why do I have reason to shake and cry

I have no reason the days have been good

No thoughts making me think I should

My Tinker turns 16 today

A day I should feel happy no sadness here

In my mind voices chasing me turn me into darkness

I have no reason no thoughts I hold

Let my mind my voice be told

Darkness closes in and takes hold

Windows open the cold night air

I have no thought no reason or care

Time to wrap the nights warm hold

Down and feathers to hold me tight

Will I let the thoughts take hold

My mind and my feelings are uncontrolled

I have no reason to be here

I have good thoughts and people around

Turn the night's darkness to daylights ground

Take care to be you, you are enough

Be you hold your self-love within

As darkness falls Tomorrows light rises

As with every other day so will I
