Accidental Love...

Hola Amigos. Hope everyone is well.

So...

I have had a very good friend for about 10 months and we became good friends almost instantly. She was about 4 weeks pregnant when we met, shes single. She doesn't know many people here so I introduced her to my other friends and now she had become friends with some of them.

I helped her through her pregnancy and after with baby Samuel, driving her shopping, hospital, doctors, helping when the baby cries etc. Spending s lot of time together. She very beautiful too and an amazing person. She's Dutch and an estate agent, she speaks a few languages.

Anyway, so about 3 weeks ago I suddenly fell in love with her. Totally unintentional. I'm a backpacker and will always be a backpacker. I've tried the family and kids before and I know for a fact it's not for me! So I don't want a relationship with anyone with a family... but she's so amazing! I decided to tell her and she understood and didn't want to be in a relationship anyway. She's just had a kid and the father is a dickhead! He's in jail now for 3 years for dealing, he was trying to dictate the name, religion etc of the baby when he wanted an abortion! Twat!

I explained to her I didn't mean to and she knows I don't want a relationship unless it's with someone who travels like me. I just couldn't help it. Everyone I think of her I feel it in my heart and I wanna cry! I don't know why!!! We're still good friends but it has been a little distant the last few weeks. I found it hard to be around her as Every time I look at her I just felt like I wanted to tell her I loved her. I've been in love before and I know it's uncontrollable, we both understand the situation but I'm finding it hard getting over her.

It's like I found love and a broken heart at the same time lol. Very strange situation!

Anyone else unintentionally fell in love with a good friend knowing nothing could ever or should ever happen. I know my triggers and settling down is one of them. Even if she wanted a relationship I couldn't do as I will break her heart and leave one day.

It'll all be ok once the feelings go I'm sure.

Have you told her how you feel? You've been in the same place for a few years now I think you said. Maybe you're not as flighty as you once were?

Yeah she knows and understands. No she's too good! I want to keep her as a friend as I won't last in a settled environment. She'll be in my life longer as a friend. I'll be gone by April

Well......

Not exactly the same but I did fall in love with and marry a single parent FWB that I met on Fab..........

It happens. Things change, situations change, life views change and you change with them. Or you don't. The choice is yours.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I'm so glad you didn't say the 'S' word!!

People have been saying it too me for months. Walking around and people I haven't seen for a bit and they say 'Oh you're settled now are you?' No!! I can start feeling the feeling I get before I move on now as I see it coming. Past 2 years have been crap! I know so many people here now so I had to stay to survive. The local shops give me a 10€ tab whenever I'm stuck lol. At least now I know no matter where I am in the world i can survive. If I haven't given up by now I never will.

Sounds like you will both be ok. Still being friends is a good thing.

Nice and Settled.

I love that! Chance encounters... No it'll never happen! I want to keep moving forever. I was engaged before I started travelling and she was amazing. We was together 5 years and never argued once. Had disagreements but never a shouting match just talked. She liked camping too... well I said camping, it was like taking the house with us. That was one of our disagreements, I will say though it's crazy what you can fit into a Cordon C5 She had kids and they were... ok... but I didn't like that life, working at same job, paying bills, car etc. I was going to travel.vefore I met her so I put it on hold to be with her. Lasted 4 years! We talked and split up 12 months later as we tried to stay in touch but just kept getting back together. So no contact now. That's why my head was so messed up on here a few years ago lol. But yeah, won't go through that again

I know....I'm a whore.

I did check her veris first though and back checked them all too. Made a family tree style flowchart to ensure there weren't any dodgy fuckers there.

Don't it just! It'll just take time. I'm taking her to get the babies passport in Benidorm or his ie number? So few hours in the car together will be good. We've had a few long drives to Malaga and no feelings then so maybe a long drive will be like a memory reset and it'll feel normal?

I meant more... no one ever said you have to be with someone to be in love with them and as long as expectations are the same on both side then it's not a problem

No if it got that intimate it wouldn't be fwb I got too many feelings for her. I'll be here another 5 years then. Samuel is great too, he never cries when I got him. I looked on YouTube of this hold where you fold his arms to his chest and pick them up like their flying. I was amazed when I 1st did it. Crying his eyes out picked him up like that and stopped instantly. Works Every time!

But no just friends.

Oohhh. Those butterflies when you think of someone, or is it heart ache? I’m not sure I know the difference anymore.
