Guest house Paradiso was good until 35 minutes in and it got incredibly silly.

Secret hideaway in the pennines

Firefly the series was brilliant, and when they did the film Serenity, I was a little wary, but I have to admit it was excellent

A lot of sitcoms in the 70s had this effect.

On the buses, Love thy neighbour, Rising Damp, Dad's Army etc.

Annoys me.

The plot.....

So and so must thwart a big baddie and travel the world

Cue massive set pieces and the odd swear word we couldn't use on TV

Futurama done it right, they just had feature length specials which, for the most part, worked

Even the simpsons fucked it up.

Why did anyone need to see a cartoon ten year old penis?

Like we were all sat wondering.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Absolutely Fabulous the movie was a giant turd.

Mind you, I wasn’t a particularly big fan of the series to be fair.

The X-Files films ranged from bland to absolute shite to.

The only thing they messed up with Firefly was canning it after one season.

Serenity was a great film.

Another one; The Bad Education film was very lacklustre compared to the series.

"Porridge

It’s actually not that bad when you compare it to other TV series, attempting to step up to the cinema screen. In fact I’d say it’s probably the best spin off.

I actually like them the ‘in sickness and in health’ is really good and ‘Steptoe and Son’ both films are quite watchable.

Holiday on the Buses is perfect rainy Saturday afternoon film.

"The Sweeney"

Disagree Sweeney 2 is a classic film and even the first film was trying to be different.

Absolutely, I turned it off halfway through, so forgettable and rubbish that I didn’t realise you meant that god awful film.

TOS was a commercial failure, it’s the films that spawned TNG et al!

See I enjoyed step toe films but that's because I was brought up with the films first. Especially the first, I'm very fond of it

They weren't terrible - some enjoyable moments - but they were a pale invmitation of the TV series. I enjoyed them as a youngster but as an adult I'm not a keen

Worthing

Bad Education. The film is not bad for the first 3/4. Last quarter takes a strange turn and becomes very unfunny.
