It doesn’t bother me too much messages going unread and so on but it is a pet hate people reading and not just no thanks or whatever I’m always polite and courteous and normally send a face pic….. is it just im not for this game or is there something im missing….. I know women and couples get a lot of messages and so on but I’ve met and been verified a few times In my time here but I do keep getting g bored so disappear for a long time….. any pointers taken on board…. And happy fabbing

Sometimes we get that many we HAVE to ignore. Can become a second job managing messages at times. Don’t take it personally

I barely get any messages but I aren't gonna reply to someone I have zero interest in.

No reply = no thanks. It's said on here countless times a week replying to a message then means the person can bypass any future filters.

As for what you can do, I suggest emptying your sent box and don't check for messages that have been read and deleted with no reply.

But it’s in the site rules that a no reply means no thanks. If you reply even saying no thanks it means the sender can then ask why/send abuse for rejecting them.

Every thread that is always about this topic I find amusing that the Op doesn’t reply to every comment on their thread when complaining folk aren’t replying to their messages.

I've sent messages that haven't been replied to, dunno if they were read or not cause once sent, that's my part over. Send as you please but once done, forget it, if you get a reply then great, if you don't it's not a big deal and definitely not worth bothering yourself about.

We all have egos, no matter how strong or fragile.

What Ive sometimes done, because ignorance can be bliss, is after you send the message, delete the sent message from your sent box, that way it saves you from seeing a read email with no response if that's the case.

I never reply if I'm not interested unless I've already entered a conversation with someone. I just dont have the time. To put it into perspective when I'm online I get up to 4 messages a minute and that's just from men within the age range I'm looking for. When you reply to someone the majority of those you get a reply back adding to the number, then when you put message filters on so people can't message those people can then still message you.

Generally speaking if someone is saying they aren’t getting what they want from this site then it’s more often that not themselves who are stopping themselves from being successful on here.

Everyone has the same tools to work with on FAB.

They can create an intriguing profile and take interesting (up to date) pics, they can go on cam, join in on forums, see what clubs nights there are and see some of the people who are going, go to socials, see who’s local…

So many options and if people used enough of these features they wouldn’t be complaining about not getting any interaction or their messages read or no meets.

The choice is your own of how your FAB experience works out…so don’t blame anyone else for not getting the outcome you expected when you joined.
