If you don't like oil and are in a pinch try moisturiser (be careful not to get it in your eye) or baby shampoo.

If you're really struggling maybe try applying more normal mascara on top to re-wet it and then remove it immediately, and see if the WP comes off with it? That's what I do with nail polish when I run out of remover

After oil based remover has completely got rid of the mascara, use regular micellar water to get rid of the oily residue.

Joking aside, what waterproof mascara do you/OP/all use?

Recently I was asked, as a favour, to pick up some mascara for someone. However, I was hastily advised by the sales weasel to go for the "BADgal BANG! Waterproof Mascara" at the Benefit™ counter.

I've subsequently told three other people about this who have all agreed that it's a fantastic product.

[And no, I don't wear mascara on the weekends!! ]

I've not used the waterproof version, but the regular one is incredible. Makes me look like I have false lashes.

I use Clinique take the day off cleansing balm. Make up even waterproof mascara comes off with one wipe. I wouldn't use anything else now. It is a little bit greasy so I also use the cleansing tonic after.

I wear waterproof mascara every day.

I use an oil-based remover, then a cream/lotion-based remover and then the micellar water and my normal face wash. Letting the remover soak for a minute or two might help also.

I've used the Boots lotion before and that is good.

Face Halo and water.

You don’t need anything else, just wet it, hold it against your lashes for a few seconds do they’re nice and wet, then a bit of a rub. Off it comes! You can wash the face halo and reuse. No lotions needed

I don’t no, just the halo and water. Once a week I put on Elemis face balm as a mask and wash it off with a flannel. That’s it. I know some people with problem skin do use cleansers before or after the halo but I have no need.

I'm supposed to curl my lashes and apply waterproof mascara to stop my lashes from curling inwards and scratching my cornea. Yes the opticians told me so.

I use a mascara guard and a 10 x magnification mirror and lift my slightly hooded lid up and look down into the mirror. If I try putting it on without the guard in the bathroom mirror over the since yup...mascara on the eyeballs.

I'm too scared to get them permanently curled.

Clinique take the day off balm only teeny bit needed.

Apparently Aldi and Primark do a version that is good but I haven’t tried it.

I use Estée Lauder double wear mascara and double wear gel eyeliner as they are sweat proof, water proof etc and didn’t even budge with a full ‘facial’ lol!

But take the day off a little amount and wipes off brilliantly
