Christmas Dec's !!

How do you feel about Christmas decorations on the outside of the house??

We have one on our street (and the only one) which has a mis-match of all sorts going on, most of them are activated as soon as you walk by they all sing over the top of each other so it never makes any sense. Don't get me wrong i love outside Dec's, but i do feel that they have to have some sort of theme going on if you are going to do the entire house. We have another that does it for charity and every year a lot of effort goes into it. This year it's the Arctic with all blue and white lights, penguins and polar bears.

we have a few here that do it i know at least one that does it for charity they do look nice.

I like seeing the festive deccos on the outside of houses...have you seen the picture doing the rounds on Facebook? First house has a zillion outdoor decs, lit up like nobody's business, next house has the word TWAT and an arrow pointing next door done in fairy lights on the garage - it did make me giggle

Tasteful white lights perhaps.

No inflatable snowmen or shit though and deffo no music!!

They can easily look chavtastic!

For me then I like the minimal amount of decs outside the house. I do have some lanterns on the outside of my porch, thats it.

I really dont like those blow up santas etc. They are about 10ft tall and I think they look tacky. I would love to get a screwdriver and pop one.

A screwdriver i think would have some effect but why not go the whole hogg and give him a beard trim with a pair of scissors
