Might have to tap up the former workmates and see if i can blag a guest list or hold ticket first...or see if they want some free labour for the night

I was quite underwhelmed by the conference. I cannot relieve not one of the 4 or was it 5 questions asked anything about the new album "Memento Mori".

What the overall mood of the album ?

Any particular textures or timbres ?

What did you learn as musicians making this album, musically, emotionally or anything else ?

Which song do you feel captures the essence of the album the most and why ?

Any particular instruments of note that fan may not have heard before ?

I could go on.

It was a dire reveal and very underwhelming. I'm convinced none of the audience were musicians, that's for sure. I'm not sure any were real fans either.

I'd have been tempted to ask "When's Alan coming back ?" but I don't think that would have gone down well.
