Gives me shivers. Anyway Sally, just develop a nice sexy hunch, humpbacks are coming back I swear.

I'd be interested to know what the ideal man is though, is there another complimentary study? "The perfect shape ladies is how you are. I wish people would get over this pigeon holing it’s not very good for peoples mental health. " I don’t agree that everyone is “perfect”. Fairer to say that none of us is. I’m not happy with my current physique, and I’m right not the be, I’m overweight and not as fit as I could / should be. Winter plan in place to tackle this and get back into the habits and routines that get me back to the shape I was in a few years ago. The pressure to do this comes from myself, not what others think, and is driven by wanting to be healthier and stronger. The beneficiary of this effort will be myself. Saying everyone is perfect is a bit of a copout.

Well, if you can't take a joke, understand a joke, comprehend a joke or even see the glaringly obvious, maybe don't resort to throwing out shade of the personal manner making light of mental health. We can all be as severe and pious as you, if you like, but, it's a little bitter. Ta.

" Saying everyone is perfect is a bit of a copout. " Always been a big proponent of disagreeing with the "All women/men/boobs/babies/cats/members of BTS are beautiful" style of thinking. Also happy to admit what I think is shit, others find beauty in. That's that way it should be, live and let live in essence.

"No the study is correct, everyone else not like this should do the right thing and hit the gym and do all the surgeries until ideal. Anything less is unacceptable. Not sure what surgery exists that'll help me grow 5 inches... " Break your shins and get stretchers put in… But then you would need to break both femurs to extend those too, or else your legs would be all out of proportion… Oh then your body might start to look wrong so you would need to stretch your spine on a rack or something Then get those hoops that those women in that African tribe wear that makes their necks really long and “elegant” That would make you taller… I reckon that would be worth doing to make you more “perfect”

People like you should be sectioned No one should have surgery to be deemed acceptable… Seriously? Any possibility the other poster was being facetious? Inappropriate if you ask me, we put up with enough judgement, one never knows wether it’s a joke or just plain knobish, don’t you think?" No. I’d say it was pretty obviously a joke/sarcasm.

Well, if you can't take a joke, understand a joke, comprehend a joke or even see the glaringly obvious, maybe don't resort to throwing out shade of the personal manner making light of mental health. We can all be as severe and pious as you, if you like, but, it's a little bitter. Ta. How do you I wasn’t joking? I couldn’t be a more positive person if I tried, go pick a fight with someone else" Holy back track batman. You're right, I was in the wrong clearly, you were right, joking, hilarious and wonderful. Honestly, you'd pull the fun out of a curly wurly.

"I think the researchers in texas wasted their time 'Research' these days is ridiculous. Some things people manage to get grants for and financial investment in are scandalous when you think of all the more important & life-saving things needing support. It is bollox, and sometimes I can only assume that they pick something that's ostensibly "fun" in order to essentially teach students how to organise, perform, and present research, without the worry about having to produce something that a serious professor could say is wrong... I never went to uni, so I don't really know, but often I believe that the end result here is not actually remotely important, just the lessons along the way. Either way, unless they did one for blokes, it's misguided and misogynist at best, and it clearly lacking (or the reporting of the results is...) with regards to controls like who the audience of this perfect body is... last I knew (in a cliché way), someone from Brazil probably likes a different sized ass than someone from Japan." You make a good point. Thing is when it was done before the socials existed... It was treated as it was deserved..propping up a lectures desk.. . Now it gets loaded to a server somewhere and these folks search around to find this stuff. Probably. My "research" was that tea with sugar cools faster than with sweeteners...

"The perfect shape ladies is how you are. I wish people would get over this pigeon holing it’s not very good for peoples mental health. I don’t agree that everyone is “perfect”. "

"Why were they doing this research, what was the aim?" I don’t know the answer to that however the original data was collected back in 2016! They recently revisited it and apparently nothing has changed in terms of peoples opinions. Just to reiterate they said Kelly Brook is a close example of the said perfect body. It was the data sample that came out at 24 waist as the mean. They did say - quote “ The study shows that a body stereotype that women consider “somewhat plump” is actually the one that comes closest to perfection and what they consider a “harmonious body”.” in quote
