If they’re public no concern, if shared having been sent privately, out of order..

Here and There

Depends if I’d given permission and what kind of pics.

If I’m going to meet a guy I might show a pic of them to a friend. But I wouldn’t share intimate pics of them unless they were already public on Fab.

If I was aware of it, possibly displeased. Unless their mate was a hottie and wanted me as the filling in a FMF sandwich.

It’s hard to say really - it would have to be on a case by case basis. If they’re doing it against your wishes and / or without consent it’s a shitty thing to do, and depending on the circumstances / where it’s being shared possibly a criminal offence.

Trouble is once you’ve shared pics the sad reality is they’re “out there” for ever. So never share anything you don’t want other people to see.

But if they show them without my knowledge-immediate block and out of my life.

Depends on the picture and the circumstances. Is it with my consent?

Anything sent private or of an intimate nature, then I'd be very pissed off.

Hit them with a law suit for lost revenue

Hence why my content gets uploaded somewhere else that I am under contact with

I can use they free legal team to hit them with copyright

Boo's World

Hard question to answer....

Depends who they were sharing the pictures with, fab or non fab people, and in what situation/discussion your pictures were being used in and for.

General discussion

Potential "fab" threesome

Someone willing to "out" you to someone further down the line.

Also another good reason to never include your face in anything you send privately to anyone no matter how much you trust them.

If someone shared pics I’d sent them with their mates then they’re going in the bin. As in I’m calling my mates, I’m catching them slipping and I’m putting them in a wheelie bin.

My rule of thumb is don't post or send any pictures that I would not be happy to go public.

It's not really cricket if a guy is showing pictures of a lady he's fucking or intends on to his mates - shows a complete lack of respect.

Not fussed, I wouldn't send anything I didn't think I looked good in. If they're "showing you off" to friends in a "look at who I'm fucking way" take it as a compliment. Of they're showing you off in a "look at the state of this numpty" maybe work on who you're sending photos too.

If they're public then, you're already showing everyone.

Don't really see the issue if I'm honest

It's a risk, isn't it

Sending pics directly to someone (like via WhatsApp). All you can do is hope they don't post them to thier public profile or show to people you wouldn't feel comfortable with.

But, if they did.. Not sure if there's anything to be done about it???

Practically probably not much but I believe it is against the law in Scotland and the Law Commission is working on proposals for England which would make it an offence to share personal photos without permission.

If they share private data then GDPR might also kick in.

"I reckon the best defence against people sharing pictures is for someone on one of the groups to share the details of those sharing the pics. Out them and then we can all see who they are.

Nobody ever does though. It’s like this so called clique that’s been around for years apparently. Everyone seems to know who’s in it yet at the same time nobody seems to know!

You can probably guess who is in it. This is not a normal group of people to have a thread like this to themselves….."

If it’s just women probably not as I don’t take much notice of the women on here really and don’t speak to any privately. Except one who I’ve known for years.

"If I was aware of it, possibly displeased.

I agree with you on all of this. Definitely depends on the circumstances, and we are careful about pics we share.

Somewhere in Co. Down

If they were private pics I sent as in face pics ( I don't send nudes etc ) I'd be furious especially as I only send face pics after I have chatted to someone for a while.

Unfortunately it does happen in groups I was in a ladies groups where others face pics and private info was shared quite regularly it's the reason I left the group and I won't join groups anymore, nor will I tolerate anyone showing me other people's private pictures or info. It's a complete breach of trust in my opinion and I wouldn't do it to anyone and I cut people off when I have found out they have done it to me in the past.

I’d be really annoyed, but it’s why I rarely share pics, and even then it’s only with people I trust implicitly.

"It happens regularly on the Telegram group that a few from here are on. It’s the reason I’ve reduced my time on here.

But that is people sharing their own pics right?

No. I’ll give you an example and I’ll use my own name to protect the innocent.

Hello ladies (female member of Telegram group initiates a convo) this is Rex Holes (attaches my face pic in the message on Telegram) He’s just messaged me XYZ (attaches screenshot from message in the Telegram group)

They’re amongst you, some are online now. It’s just goes against the spirit of the site. I don’t send messages to anyone other than the ones I’ve spoken to regularly now.

But what do they get out of that

I’ve no idea????

Exactly why I keep it all on here ..

Don't do Telegram or Twatter or any other basically gossip groups

When you say 'keep it on here'.. Do you reckon safer than WhatsApp?) "

I've no idea what's safer tbh ..

Anyone can send pics off this site on WhatsApp or any of the other various sites I guess

Those legal disclaimer don’t work

But yes there is away if you cover all your media under serton sites

Ie PH

Then you can sue for illegal distribution off your content as long as sed pic was on the site before they shared it

I've had a conversation with a fab friend who is no longer on the site but had been here for many years and she said that there have always been people on here who need those little power trips and gathering and sharing info including pics is part of that. They get more of a thrill from that than they ever would meeting for sex.

Information is currency.

I've no doubt that my facepic and private details have been shared by women on here because when we were fab "friends" they were capable of sending me unsolicited screenshots of other people's private messages, personal details and places of work.

All I had to do was have a disagreement with someone on the forums and these women would offer me ammunition in the form of all of the above.

Some of these screenshots and facepics where from when they were meeting and chatting up to 3 years before so it just shows how invested they were with a meticulous filing system.

As soon as I stopped engaging with them for numerous reasons including the info sharing I would put money on them passing my details to the next chump to come along.

It's all very well saying they should be named and shamed but that's against site rules and even if it wasn't I'm not naive enough to believe that my word would be taken over theirs because there are too many people suffering from fanny blindness or in awe of these amazingly popular women who have been playing this game for a long time.

People can share photos and screenshots on here as direct photos. I don't think the forum is important, it's being careful who to share info and photos with, which can take time to filter out the wrong uns.

That’s easy

Two ways find someone in the group and bribe them for screen shots

Or the second way

Make a quirk little app

That change filters on a picture or something

And have the permission set so that it scrapes all data from the phone

And hopefully one off them downloads sed app

Now you have access to all app data in that person phone including they telegram group chats

Put in a 20 page bs agreement that they have to click ok before use the app

Hide on page 9-10 as some may read the first and last page but very little read all pages

That you have the legel right to do what you like with they data

No bascule you and PH are the only people allowed to distribute the content

What they mean is you need proof that it was shared you can’t blindly say someone shared it without proof so you need the chat logos or screen shots from the group

One of the reasons I don’t do Face Pic Friday any more is because I knew of people who used to download and keep the pics of people harvested from such threads on the forums.

So gawd only knows what other info they kept. Weird behaviour!

I’ve given my face out to a few on here since returning some have gone reasonably quiet so who knows if / when they’ve been shared. I would hope I could trust the conversations were private but who knows?

Every time one of these threads appear it's only a matter of time before one of these women comments to say it's a horrible thing to do without the slightest hint of irony.

I've never been in any men only groups so can't say one way or the other what is shared in them but I've seen private messages and pics shared in mixed groups and that's one of the reasons I'm no longer in any groupchat and in all the years I've been here I've lost count of the number of women who have told me they left various groups due to the sharing of pics and info of men that the other women in the groups were meeting.

I've been in the position of being shown pics and been given info of other site members (no idea why they thought I'd be interested) which is why I was pondering the question x

Did you sue them?

They weren't my pictures. Just goes to show you can't trust anyone "

My face pictures were shared once now I am being sued by the recipients.

Mostly agree with this - definitely the sharing pics and any personal info is a no-no.

From a safeguarding perspective if there’s any cause for concern regarding the behaviour of someone then there’s possibly a case for that.

But even then it becomes a case of hearsay and people should form their own opinions, who knows what grudges they might have against that person?

There is always an element of trust in fab life and also a fair degree of personal responsibility, I think you need to do what makes you feel safe and guard against outcomes that could harm you.

As for fab “secret societies”, they have always existed in some form and are predominantly populated by people that are immature, have low self esteem, and lack control in their lives, these people seldom meet anyone for a “lifestyle” encounter and trend towards the “fantasist”/low self worth spectrum, I think that there little groups are good, because they tend to lead to massive drama falling outs with mass unlos

If your pictures are being shared, that is because you are an idiot.

Safeguard yourself.

Take control of your own image.

Do not give it away.

Unless you want to.

Once you have done so, agreed to the terms and conditions.

You is fucked.

Had an issue with a local man doing this. Likely others too. It's shit.

I would be pretty annoyed actually. Picture sharing happens without consent and the only way around it is not to share.

My feelings on pictures being shared, not something I’d do.

I honestly don’t know why anyone would need to do this - I don’t think I’d lose sleep over it.

Depends if they were public pics or private.

We always work with the worst case scenario in mind and act accordingly when sharing pics and avoid having faces or identifiable features showing.

Also the reason we don't do video chat as you have no control if the content is recorded and shared anywhere.

Not that we assume everyone would do this but you have to protect yourself against the minority if you want to be descriet x

"Are they good pictures?

Meh, crack on.

Any pic that you may have sent them privately "

Private pictures should be kept private but sometimes people say "Phwoar, look who I'm seeing tonight". I would probably take it as a compliment, but I understand why some people may not.

I had a friend once send me a pic and say "Isn't this your ass?", and it was indeed my ass. That someone had appropriated. I sleuthed my way to finding who had sent it, and to this day I regularly remind them publicly that they had saved my ass pictures for public use on the basis that it's more embarrassing for him than me. This wasn't on FAB btw.

I don't agree that there's a massive difference in whether the pics are public or private.

Obviously if they are private it's a shitty thing to do and there's no excuse for doing it. Trying to pretend that it's necessary for your own personal safety is bull because those who use this excuse would be the first to kick off if the shoe was on the other foot and someone else shared their images for "safety" reasons.

As already said it's not just men sharing womens pics and women sharing men's. Many of these so called chatgroups are renowned for sharing pics of both sexes.

I would also question why anyone would need to share public pics unless it's to mock or demean.

Some of the women I mentioned in a previous post used to copy public pics from other women and attach them in messages which usually asked "what do you think of this shit?","how hideous does she look?" or "she really doesn't have mirrors in her house!"

If you have public photos then assume at some point someone can easily screen shot and circulate/use/fake/photoshop you!

Just because you didn’t show your face don’t assume you are not instantly recognisable by the clothes/lingerie/jewellery you wear

And don’t assume your messages are private either!

The other site I use does not allow screen shots at all of anything and anyone doing so is outed!!

I'm not sure what senseof safety you all get from saying 'only on fab' there's no stopping anyone from lifting things from here

I couldn't care less if the pics were explicit because they could be of anyone.

I'd have more of an issue with people who have to use other people's facepics and personal info as a way of ingratiating themselves with others.

If you're ever in any doubt over who's sharing your details you only have to look at who in your circle is always the first with the inside scoop on what everyone else is doing and is so friendly and approachable with half the site.

This puts me off socials as you can't police folk sneaking a pic or just taking selfies all around you. Clubs might have protocols but open socials won't be able to have that level of control. Especially those arranged by fabbers ad hoc as opposed to higher level events.

I think most people are decent and respect the privacy element of the site. There are just a few bad apples who, frankly, need to get a life. The site would be a lot better if more people called this behaviour out.

I am not sure I buy the site rules argument. I am pretty sure that if the site owners/mods were presented with evidence that other profiles were being misused on social media and the profiles of the people who were doing it could be identified then they would take action. People could just dm the site owners directly…..

Maybe site rules need to be amended to ban people from discussing profiles on social media to help cover this?

Just out of interest what would worry you about a photo taken at a social?

Surely everyone is dressed, generally in a bar environment and it would just look like a photo taken in a pub.

I've yet to go to an organised social where there was a 12 ft banner with 'Swingers' hanging from the wall.....

Behind your back with out consent is 100% wrong . Is cheating on you . specially if u asked never to share . Or if u point out for discretion .

I hate them . Because of them now a lady wouldn’t trust u a selfie .

and is very sad u go for a meal or a drink and chat a lady who you really like , and can’t have not even a single selfie because she just don’t trust any fucker .

Don’t blame them .

I could never do that . Massive miss respect .

If there is a need of sharing to a third party , you ask the lady for her permission .

A photo taken at a social could be passed around message groups.

If the person doesn't have or want face pics on Fab, it is an invasion of their privacy.
